It cost 419$ to purchase, did you try it?

it seems to target 100 pips and use a 200 pips stoploss,, but not sure if that Risk/Reward ratio is constantly used on the actual trade logic when forward testing.

There two file in the download link, one is GbpUsd H13 and the other is GbpUsd H1. Which one should we use?

I found this EA in a russian forum and found it to be a decent performer. It has no martingdale, hedging and it does not hold trades like most EAs. Here is a snapshot of the backtest on GBPUSD H1:

Look at the drawdown % on the Zeus strategy and another very important number in the stats that are posted gives it all away that this is a scam EA. The "Konservative" Zeus report shows Gross profit per trade 921 and loss per trade -34270. He does not post trade by trade nor a forward test but what is shown on these backtests should make one steer away from these EAs.

Sorry to ruin the party.. all these EAs are pure crap. HiRider who is supposedly the best one is highly optimized with its optimized parameters hidden inside the DLL. Do you guys remember Forex Shocker which when released it had optimization for every month going back to 2006? The same is true with HiRider. It is a marketing genius plot. FXCM are like pigs in heaven from all the people that trade the EA there and the developers are busy counting all the cash generated from the sales of the EAs. They know we are backtesting this EA so they give us what we want.. a good backtest. To truly find out how crappy this EA is run a backtest on EURUSD M5 before 2008 and you will see for yourself. Once you run a forward test you will discover HiRider to take 100 pips stoplosses frequently. Can you afford this on your real account? If you want a truly good EA and enjoy making good profits try MDPro_XE or its clone EAKain. Both of those are money makers unlike those FRWC EAs.

Sounds like a martingdale EA i.e. all or nothing approach. An EA that trades by conventional methods (i.e. open, close trade one at a time) never can achieve this kind of result unless it is leveraged 1000:1. Use caution.

if this works like megadroid first version, it was sending a http request to megadroid server to activate. The dll checked if some specific number was present in the Http response.

 

I dealt with this the hard way installing a http server on my pc, changing the host name of megadroid to my localhost and putting the right information in the response.php page hosted on my PC.

 

Maybe this can be done too... I have to launch a packet capture software to see if this can be done.

Ho need. HiRider has no web authentication in the mql4 code. For the DLL to have authentication and call the developer's server on its own the firewall has to permit it hence you'd get a message to let it through. No such event occurs. It is protected by hiding its logic inside the DLL only.

I tried Decompilation and re-coding them. Much in vain, we need experienced and skilled programmers to tame these claimed 'super-robots' , Because These Experts are hard coded from the DLL.

You are right. The logic is hard coded inside the DLL. There are 2 options 1) rig the DLL so it will trade without the Plimus receipt code and 2) convert the decompiled DLL code to mql4 and port this code to the original EA.

Antivirus detect hirider.dll as a virus so I deleted that file.

Use free Avast antivirus which scans real time. It gives no virus detections whatsoever.

Just my 2 cents on this. Some people will not agree on this for sure and that is fine. If you have a good set of EAs the logical common sense approach is to put them to work for you and make plenty of profit with them. To decide to sell them even at $16,000 does not make much sense since you can make that kind of money every day with enough capital to trade.

Just 2 month of forward trading means not that much. There are EAs out there like Ilan for ex. that can get lucky not to be blown out within 2 months and make 1000-5000% on an even a small account. Does it mean it is a good and safe EA? no..

These people should have supplied continuous backtests from 2004 til current with 90% modelling quality to at least give to potential buyer some confidence before the purchase but to my knowledge I see nothing of this sort posted on their website.

Another approach used by many clever EA developers is to optimize the EA and then let it trade on a forward demo for few months where if they get lucky it will perform very well. However when it goes out of optimization and the market patterns change, the EA will start to underperform leaving the buyer high and dry.

Always be very wary of these clever marketing ploys that developers use and make sure you ask yourself these questions before deciding to spend your money on these and many other EAs out there that look good. I am not saying that these are not good EAs.. they could be the best investment you ever made. But when red flags come out you need to pay attention..

Same crap as the PipAndroid and many others lately.. I often wonder if these developers talk to each other and decide to spread these EAs like swine-flu. This EA is Martingdale.. it keeps adding long positions in a falling market and shorts in a rising "hoping" (even though 'hope' is a word that should never be used in trading real $$) that the market will correct.. What happens if it doesn't ----->>>>> Account blown.. very simple.

Looks like Martingdale by following the trades. It opens multiple sells in an ascending market and buys in a falling market. Be careful using an EA like this since it can blow the account fast.

I just looked inside of the code and i can say it is pretty heavy. Backtest is not very stimulating, and his forward test is not his but stolen from another thread (it used to be here under a name is this too good to be true or something) belongs to kim dong and his genius ea copy. Regardless i will run it overnight on a demo account to see how fast will it blow through the balance, other than that there is alot of code in there. Could the person starting this thread post a set file or explain how to use this ea. Thank you.

It is a useless EA. It makes 0.3 pips per trade (no typo) and even then it gets in trouble holding trades for weeks on end. It can wipe an account very fast so be very careful with it.

This is for the hardcore hackers in this forum. This EA is a great performer as you can see in the attached forward test report but it is protected by ForexCIO encyption. Is anyone here familiar with this protection scheme to be able to decompile it? Or does anyone know of a service that does custom decompilation? The latest purebeam 225 decompiler does not work, don't waste your time. Please let us know if you can help decompile this.

Actually I got the real version of EAKAIN and did a hex compare of its DLL against the VS_Eurocross DLL and they are identical!! 100% EAKAIN is a ripped off version of VS_Eurocross. Here is the EAKAIN real version:

There results on USDCAD are looking outstanding. No losses in 2009. I mean...too good to be true. So wanted to check if there is anyone out there who is aware of them?

Strange they don't show any forward testing. The backtest reports can be easily doctored. I would request real forward test reports from them before signing up.
