This developer is in dreamland.. all he can supply is screenshots of sequential winning trades? In a sustained trend even a blind dog can have 30-40 winners in a row for few pips! We should ask him to supply forward demo and backtests (for 8+ years) to substantiate his claims. Do not buy this EA until he provides proof of its efficacy..

Hey Soundfx,
I ran this marvellous thing for a few days now on an Alpari UK Demo, with your 8 pairs settings. Stop 10% and trail is 2%/1%. After having losses or wipedout gains on 1h chart, I switched to 4h on Tuesday. Win is 1500 euro, from 8500 to 10k, currently some trades pending -50 euro.
If this is what it is going to be in future ... more than 20% with 0.1 lots ... I'd be kissing someones b*tt ;-) I will keep a very eye on this for some weeks and want to see it in normalized market conditions, but if it already does THAT well under current circumstances ... we can start dreaming ... ;-)

Not to be on the negative side but lets ask ourselves some questions:
1) Would we decide to run an EA (any EA for that matter) with a 10% SL in the same manner that we are willing to run BB 7.0? And if not why is BB so special?
2) In the same fashion that BB 7.0 has decimated accounts traded on the H1 TF, is it possible that it will decimate account traded on H4 or D1 especially at 10% SL?
3) If I handed all of you an EA that had no backtesting capability and asked you to run it at 10% risk on every trade would you call me crazy?
My opinion on this is that if you cannot resonably run it at 1-2% risk per trade and gain 1-2% then this is a losing proposition in the long run from a money management standpoint. The traded account may survive and make 100% in one week but eventually it will succumb to the laws of statistics.

This is how these EAs end up and the scammers who sell them move on to another crooked venture. http://www.highgainnorisk.com

This developer must be smoking something good or by nature he is crazy. Look at the drawdown figures on each report and the way his EA executes trades. After a loss he doubles the lost size with an exponent of 7. After 7 losses in a row he states that "yeah lets accept the losses and move on!!!". With a zero balance account??

Backtest it over a few years and I think people will be hesitant to use it.

I agree 100%. It is a useless EA.. totally curve fitted. Backtest from 2001 onward and it becomes obvious.. use caution if you decide to use it live.

Looks shady to say the least. Uses no SL initially until it is in a profit by X pips then add the SL to breakeven.. Old trick to falsely give the impression that the EA is performing. However if the market goes against it until it is in profit.. even with a wide internal SL.. ouch!! Would be good to backtest from 2001 and get a good laugh!

Hi,
There is an update to the EXMQ1 EA that supposedly makes it a better performer with lower risk called EXDeluxe. You can read the details here (use google translator): http://fxillusions.blogspot.com/2010/04/exdeluxe-leprecon-edition.html
Also post of live performance: http://ealab.ru/ea.php?id=126
Does anyone have this EA to share?

See the wizard hats on the backtest graph? = Martingdale.
-
FX Maximizer testers on other forums report +640 pips for last 3 trading days between the regular and advanced version. Anyone here with the same result?
-
look at those draws on the graphs. He's lucky so far but one day soon the boogieman will come and blow the entire account. It is martingdale.
-
I wish I did but still playing around with it to come with the best .set file. One thing is that it needs to be backtested on Ticks only since the Hull Indicator needs intrabar ticks so it takes a long time to complete a backtest. Once I make a bit of progress I will share it.
-
I found this and it looked interesting being a fan of BBands and Hull indicator. I don't know how "Holy" it is since I have not tested it yet. But it may be worthwhile for us to take a look at. Please share your thoughts and experiences on this EA. Here are some screenshots:

From the screenshots it runs on GBPJPY M5.

Martingdale EA. Opens increasing lots and same timestamp for orders when it exits.

I have read on a russian developer forum that EuroBlaster v 7.11 is identical to XBars MA Scalper 1.04. So don't waste your time looking for EB 7.11 since it adds no value. Unless you just want to test it for curiosity.. Same goes for FXZapper, Zone99 which are also clones of XBars.

This is the indicator from: http://www.forexdaytradingindicator.com/
It looks pretty decent and it does not re-paint. I tested it myself.
-
not much brains.. martingdale based.

This comment on the author's website is not only funny but pathetic at the same time "We refund your money back only if MLK blow out your account and only after you prove that you install MLK correctly(you give us invest.pass for account, log files from terminal folder)."
Few paragraphs before they state "But you should not afraid of big drawdown because in the case of wrong enter the market it will lock unprofitable positions till the trend turn back to it's direction."
So what they are saying is that this EA is safe because its logic is cutting out the unprofitable positions, but if your account is blown and you offer proof to us that you blew your account we will refund your money you paid for this EA.
-
What are your thoughts on it? From what I see it is a high risk proposition..
-
Has anybody seen this EA anywhere? Backtest looks good even though not 90% modelling quality..

Here it is for the group to enjoy! Both regular and advanced versions are included. The regular version trades GBPUSD H1 and the advanced GBPJPY H1. Both show good peformance on backtest but I sense some optimization in there. Please back/forward test and post your results.

Just a quick update. The vendor released this report about the Maximizer EA which will be released today. Very sketchy performance report with the entry prices missing and only winners. Hmm.. very fishy.
The word in the russian forums is that this is a clone of Funyoo XBars MA Scalper just like FXZapper and Zone99 EAs as stated by the early beta testers. Nothing to do with his Dynamic Channel Indicator. Remains to be confirmed when the EA comes out.

Is this developer still around? Looks like all his MT4live forward demo and forum threads are dead.. as the saying goes "give them enough rope and they will eventually hang themselves".. This type of EA is not around for long ;)
