  1. Re: "Hall of Shame" list - who should be here?

    I think it would be faster selecting the eas that aren't a scam..

    :-)

    my sentiments exactly,

    why focus on the ten tonnes of garbage, if you were to put every scam ea there has been on here i dare say we would break a world record for most crap in one spot

    You gotta get the garbage out before your house is clean my friend. Ignore people that keep telling you that you should live with garbage inside your house - it will start smelling bad soon! Same for some individuals here that focus on making the list of the "best" EAs.. they know who they are.. sniff, sniff..

    This has been tried many times. What we end up with is with Scammers promoting more scam. Search for the threads where the best EAs are requested.. what do you find? Fake rated 1,2,3,4,5 EAs that are no good. Hopefully doing it this way we find out who belongs in the Hall of Shame and we avoid them in the future.

  3. Re: SHE Firebird

    Let me know what you think of this one. \m/

    hxxp://rapid*share.com/files/203459992/SHE_Fire_Bird_v5.3.rar

    Is this in any way related to Forex-ThrashSD.com Firebird EA? That EA was decent for a while but large draws.

  4. Re: JITTERBUG EA

    This is a Martingale EA coded by a guy named Bruno. Not only is the EA way to risky wiping down accounts faster than rabbits mate.. but the coder has not a good record of writing good code. See Forex-Thrash-SD form if you want to find out more about him and Jitter-Bug. Pls be very very careful with this one.

    Thank you fxknigh for your comment

    Yes, Jitterbug is Martingale EA, but this EA is very best for entry and bad for close. With combine with hidden SL TP EA for close, this EA is perfect. with Hidden SL TP EA, martingale in JItterbug will not working (is a fine). i'm test in USDJPY can trade 30 op in half a day, and nothing to loss (100% win) with TP 5 pips (IN HALF A DAY).

    Hey if it works for you and you want to risk it, then by all means go for it. But I recommend that you google JitterBug EA and read the comments that people have experienced with this EA. Not so good. Originally this used to be a open source EA. I dont know if it still is.

    Good luck

  6. Re: "Hall of Shame" list - who should be here?

    I would add ISEA to this list as a strong contender. URL: http://www.expertadvisor.cn/2009/04/investiva-super-expert-advisor-isea.html

    I know a lot of people here are still looking for the ISEA pie in the sky but that will never happen. My reasons for including it here are:

    1. Deceptive and inflated claims with live demo accounts traded at brokers offering unrealistic spreads. In reality these brokers do not exist.

    2. Ripping off another EA and claiming it is theirs.

    3. Charging $1000 for theft and lies should be considered fraud.

    4. In essence the developer is feeding on people's greed. People become greedy thinking they found the holy grail and want to believe that this EA is for real. So the developer is showing the pot of gold and inviting them in a dark room only to hit them with a bat on the back of the head, rob them and leave them there cold. When waking up, one realizes finally what happend but it is too late. The money's gone and the head hurts bad!

  7. Re: "Hall of Shame" list - who should be here?

    And the crown goes to.. Mr. Zack Kolundzic of http://www.forexderivative.com. He in my opinion is the king of scam and deception. Reasons:

    1. Deceptive, optimized backtests with optimization values stored in the EA (DLL) to show impressive backtest results. This was done to lure people into buying his EA without any regard for any client's money. If the client loses money with this EA, who cares in his opinion? He already made his sale.

    2. Even after developing this EA and testing it for so long, he realizes that the EA does not know how to close trades and take any profits. So he has to go back and re-code it.. oops! Sorry you lost your money..

    3. Despite being discovered.. he still claims the EA is performing instead of issuing refunds to purchasers with an apology.

  8. I wanted to start this thread to expose the biggest scammers that are selling crap and take advantage of naive traders. Both EA developers and Brokers should be included here. This will save us time and effort not to revisit and deal with a scammer again. So the question is: who in your opinion deserves to be on this list and for what reason? Please give your reason and supply the URL of the scammer along with the name of the product they are pushing.
  9. Re: Annajah_Forex_Pilot_V1 < need to decompile >

    Ok just to save you some time and shed some light on this EA. The developer is an absolute crook along the same line as the guy that developed Forex_Derivative. Here are the reasons:

    1. He only takes Sells and he left the Buys out on purpose on his code.

    2. He does not use any Stoploss. This EA will be in a draw of 500+ pips as it trades only to come back (if lucky) to make its TakeProfit.

    3. He made this EA on purpose to fake it to look good so he can get as many emails from people for some marketing purpose. People have to email him with their account number to get the EA trading.

    I have attached the fixed EA with Stoploss and made it able to take Buys and Sells. But beware.. this is a big time SCAM. The guy should be ashamed of himself and I hope he gets called on it soon enough before people lose their shirts trading this.

    Here you go: http://www.4shared.com/file/112628686/d4b16ef9/AFP.html

    Seems to ask for the Account number. Pls decompile so we can educate.

    That was fast. Thank you.

    Just as a side comment this are the settings that the developer shows on his website:

    Symbol EURJPY : Period 15 Minutes (M15), Parameters Lots=1, TakeProfit=20, CloseLevel=37, max=92; min=8;

    Symbol GBPJPY : Period 15 Minutes (M15), Parameters Lots=1, TakeProfit=20, CloseLevel=37, max=92; min=8;

    Symbol GBPUSD : Period 15 Minutes (M15), Parameters Lots=1, TakeProfit=50, CloseLevel=37, max=92; min=8;

    I have also seen backtest results on EURUSD M15 and H1 which looked decent but with higher DD%.

    Please run backtests and/or forward tests with these settings and other and share with us your results.

  11. Re: Barracuda Russian GBPUSD M5 scalper - looks good!

    As I read on Russian forum, this guy shows forward tests from more sophisticated EA that he shared. So be careful. Ukrainians are all like this (including myself) ;))

    That's supposed to be the latest.

    Thank you for posting this. It seems that this EA is a big scam. If you don't add a Stoploss then it will just hold off trades as it trades only to blow up at the end with a huge loss. If a SL is added even 100 pips then it loses big. Looks like we need to stop wasting time on this and look at other more promising EAs.

  12. Re: Barracuda Russian GBPUSD M5 scalper - looks good!

    hi dude,

    I made a backtest, but nothing happened :-/

    Is it backtest compatible or just I should make forward test in a demo account?

    tnx

    Start the backtest from a date before April 2009, like Feb 01- 2009 til current on GBPUSD M5. It will run with default settings. As I said it is locked after March 2009 and the code needs to be fixed so it trades after this time.

    Good luck

  13. Hi,

    I found this EA and backtested it on GBPUSD M5 and to my surprise it looks decent (see backtest screenshot in RAR archive). EA is decompiled already. I am posting it here to allow other members to test it and give their opinion. It seems that it is date locked beyond March 2009 so I am looking at the code to fix it. Maybe somebody can beat me to it?

  14. Hi,

    I really don't know what the difference between the regular and Gold version is but by looking at the developer's website they claim that now it has Neural Network training where it self-adjusts to the market conditions.

    Maybe something worthwhile to test.

  15. Re: [REQ] Decompile PIPTRONIC V2

    anyone have piptronic v2 not beta!!!! to share? :)>-

    Its another EURGBP Asia session trader like many of them out there including FAPTurbo. This developer probably cloned off another Asia like all the others and released his own scam version. I would not waste my time on this and especially my $$.

  16. Re: Steinitz for You :)

    This Steinitz guy has NEVER produced anything of value and I wonder why he made his way on this board. Please be careful using his stuff - it is a loser from top to bottom with no exceptions in my book. He makes his profits not in the markets (as he should) - but selling crap to aspiring traders.

    Good luck

  17. Re: THV3 ea

    It appears from running the EA in a live demo at Broco on M5 timeframes that it is very successful on EURUSD, EURGBP, EURCHF and GBPJPY. And NO - it doesn't just trade Asia unlike most other Handicapped EAs that can't even pick their nose during normal trading hours!

    Except for a larger loss on GBPJPY it had 24 trades and 19 winners for +1% gain on the account equity. I cannot post the report since I am running many EAs with it in parallel. Can you guys share your experiences with it so far? What works for you? What doesn't? etc.

    Good luck

  19. Re: THV3 ea

    clovelly,

    Hi mate,

    you wrote that the "... errors are due to the indicator "THV3 Trix called" trying to draw objects in subwindow 1,..." you are right I have the same issue with another EA that use the same indicator, can you please give me an idea abt how to fix the issue?

    Tx in advance!

    You have to comment out the ObjectSet and ObjectCreate statement from the indicator. Make an extern bool flag in the indicator such as:

    extern bool DrawIndicator = true;

    then in the code:

    if (DrawIndicator)

    {

    ObjectSet...

    ObjectCreate

    }

    else

    {

    Do not call ObjectSet, ObjectCreate

    }

    When you display the indicator on a chart leave DrawIndicator to true. When calling it from the EA with iCustom call it as false. In this way the error will no longer occur. I wish the coders would take note of this in the future and not make these basic mistakes which make running backtests a pain in the butt for all of us on those jinxed EAs.

    Good luck
