Re: Forex Megadroid Pro,why we should pay U$699 ?
Guys,The MD team sent me an email with a
"special offer":"buy FapT evolution through our site (U$699) and we will give you
the new Megadroid Pro (multicurrencies, round clock) free of charge!
Remember: Forex Megadroid Pro will soon to be launched at a price
of US $699."
I'm asking you : for everybody (like me) who bought official MD wouldn't be "clear" we have all
the rights to receive this "enhanced" MD "free of charge" ?
When they sold their MD ea they stated their clients will receive lifetime support and new versions, why we should accept this fraud ?
They did the first release limited for this reason to be able to charge much more later after they establish good reputation just like FAPTurbo. Every new version they release, it will cost mega bucks! Next they will release not time limited version and charge $1200..
I guess they figured instead of trading just one pair you can now trade 4. So if you made $50 a day lets say, you can now make $200. Clever marketing and greedy but bad for clients.
Good luck

Re: [REQ]FapTurbo Swiss EA - out June 30th
Guys.. How different is dukascopy to metatrader? I am just thinking.. all the fapt guys have done, is use their strategy for dukascopy and the robot is making money. If someone can code yourlucky and thunder4wd to work in dukascopy, I think we will get awesome results too because of the tight spreads. What do you think?
I agree with running successful EAs at Dukascopy. Probably concepts like ISEA (or the original) would have better chance being successful there. Regardless any EA that is making money for you under MT4 will make you more money at Dukascopy or a like broker. The only question is how difficult is to convert MQL code to their proprietary language?
I also know a developer that has written an API bridge for InteractiveBrokers to handle MT4 execution. If anyone is interested maybe we can start a thread for this. I know IB has very low spreads probably even better than Dukascopy.

Re: [REQ] Profitfactor EA so good performance!!!
The performance is so good. It works on 8 pair of currencies. Please see the backtesting reports from its official website:http://fxautomater.com/profitfactor.htm
Does anybody have this EA?
Don't waste your time. This EA is another braindead EA that trades only during Asia. Large draw, small winners, large losers (hello FAPTurbo!!). Much better EAs out there to consider..
Good luck

Re: [req] Poison v2
Thanks Siddeshsd for his effort on this EA. :)Can anyone tell me what's so good about this EA
There is nothing good about this EA. My guess is that people can't find a better one to evaluate at the moment on this forum and end up settling for things like these. Save your time and energy..

Re: DreamBuilder Fx - Yohanes R. Gagahlin - Educated.
DTS-1 is very very good EA, but only if you purchase it. Do not use the cracked version. It gets some signals from author's server so the cracked verison will not give you same results as purchased one. DTS-1 was cracked long time ago by one of our Russian guys and was never producing same results as purchased version. Trust me I know what I'm saying. All I can say is that even the author is admitting that his work up to now is not good (including MTS-1) and is focusing on this newer Vision EA concept. Regardless if the author is sending signals from his server.. this type of EA that increases size and places that many orders is bound to fail and blow the account. Whatever anybody will say to defend this type of EA, you can think of the following: the reason that the EA places multiple buys ever X pips (or sells) is that it has poor entry algorithm so it needs to place many orders to be right with only a few and make a profit. When it ends up not right and keep spreading itself thin (which will eventually happen) it will blow 30-100% of the account equity..

Re: SU3Dpro EA

Re: DreamBuilder Fx - Yohanes R. Gagahlin
I have traded with this EA and it will go in draw downs that can take long time to get out of. Its an extended version of Pointbreak that uses pyramiding like fxknight wrote. I stopped trading with this due to the DD plus that it opens to many positions and when it shall close the cycle it can result in loss due to re-quotes from the broker. Yohanes is working on a new DTS-1 and you can read about it on the following web site:This version is not worth the effort to educate yourself in...
Very nice of you to share your experience with this EA. I think the developer should rename them. I propose:
PointBreak --> AccountBreaker
DreamBuilder --> DreamCrusher.

Re: [req] cyclone4x.com

Re: DreamBuilder Fx - Yohanes R. Gagahlin
Please educate this,.. cos need work, some crash inside the code, say like this"DTS1-CNS-Build812 EURUSD,M15: cannot load library 'C:\windows\system32\CNSAppAuthorizer.dll' (error 126)" that's why I need help to educate to Mq4.

Many Thank's
:shand:
I found my self, for educate,..... :)) :))
this is a link : http://www.4shared.com/file/71752524/b13493eb/DTS1.html
anyway,.. I talk my self,.... (huh,..!) .. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz #:-S #:-S #:-S
This is a Pyramiding EA with very high risk. The developer does not post any live results and also shuts off backtesting of the EA.. why do you think?

Re: [req] Poison v2
Anyone have version 2 of this Poison Robot EA?It has Trailing Stop built in and FPA demo testing is excellent and they are running v2.
http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/metatrader_expert_advisor/poison_robot/demo
I can only find v1 on these forums
Thanks in advance
x
v2 claims it has "Uncrackable Code / Decompile Protected" feature. Hmm.. Sounds like it has moved all the logics + authentications to the dll file.. Damn!!
What are they protecting really? An indirect Martingdale EA that has to take multiple positions because it cannot pick the direction of the market to save its life? Look at the 17% draw and what high risk this EA takes and you won't wanna touch it even with a 10 foot pole ;)

Re: Req: Socrates GBPUSD
Anyone tried this Socrates GBPUSD? :-?http://www.fxgtc.com/performance.html
Started trading in March 2009 and seems to be promising! =D>
Manuel :-S
Look closely at the historical trades.. indirect Martingdale. Keeps adding positions to the original entry. Expect it to blow up the account any day soon ;)
-
Re: What is this for an EA? http://trademanager.mt4stats.com/
No need to know though. Pls look at how it keeps adding orders (risk). It is not a direct Martingdale but an indirect Martingdale. Instead of buying 1 lot from an initial 0.50 it buys 0.50 multiple times therefore taking even more risk than traditional Martingdale. I would invest time and possibly $$ in other strategies like Megadroid.
-
Re: mechanics trade - New EURUSD 2009
This is another Martingdale special. Take a look in the statement at the ordersize progression. Or better said "play now, suffer later". Very similar to FXPie.

Re: EasyDay EAs complete series all pairs and last version
The developer is in the Hall of Shame. Please refer to that thread.

Re: [req] NN EA (neural network scalper)
Sorry to burst the bubble. This EA has huge draws and very good at losing. Take a look at USDCHF:

Good luck

Re: [REQ]IvyBot
This one takes Martigdale to new levels.. DoubleDown, TripleDown, QuadDown!! Maybe the IVY leagues schools teach how to blow up accounts. A picture says a thousand words.. look!

Re: "Hall of Shame" list - who should be here?
After having the chance to backtest EA-Easyday from http://forex-expert-advisor.com I believe we have another condenter for the Hall of Shame.
This developer claims extremely profitable backtests on every one of the EAs that he developed but he never makes any reference to forward live trading. In backtesting the EAs I found them to take the deep-dive to unprofitability trade by trade. So why all the good results on his website? Because he optimizes the EAs and then runs the backtest. Then he posts the good backtest results and sells his poison for a fairly high price might add.
Mr. forex-expert-advisor.com whomever your name may be - shame on you for being deceitful and scamming people. I hope you read this, take your website down, apologize and refund your buyers and crawl in a hole underneath the earth like a worm where you belong!
-
Hi,
I stumbled upon this website which has quite few EAs all with outstanding backtests but no forward tests at all. Lots of profitability claims and pricey EAs. Looks like the author should be a billionaire by trading his own EAs by now =))
http://forex-expert-advisor.com/products.htm
Does anybody have any opinion in using any of their products? If somebody has any of the EAs can you share pls so we can forward test.

Re: JITTERBUG EA
This is a Martingale EA coded by a guy named Bluto. Not only is the EA way to risky wiping down accounts faster than rabbits mate.. but the coder has not a good record of writing good code. See Forex-Thrash-SD form if you want to find out more about him and Jitter-Bug. Pls be very very careful with this one.Oh is that so, eh? And who are you...the all-knowing Forex Fairy? You're probably one of those cretins out there decompiling everyone's EA's trying to figure out what makes them tick and whether they'll make you any money without you buying them or paying your dues.
Here's a wake-up call to all of those who try to run illicit copies of EA's and make money....DON'T DO IT! If you don't have the documentation and the support of the original developers as well as others who are running the EA (as you do in my private FXAW forum), you will never be successful.
I'm appalled at the amount of illicit sharing of decompiled stuff on this forum, including my stuff. However, I can never resist an opportunity to
put a nice hunk of duct-tape on the big mouths of fools like "fxknight". Have a look at this link. This is Jitterbug Duplex running live with the proper settings in a very conservative mode. Notice that it doubled an original investment of $3K in what.....5 months and a few days? I'd say that's a pretty decent and safe EA, wouldn't you? :-bd
bluto
(Craig Stoltz - Founder, Forex Autotrader's World [FXAW])
I'm not going to get in a pissing match with you. It is simply not worth it. There is nothing original about your Jitterbug code. If you want I can post segments of code that are similar if not identical to other a dime a dozen Martingale EAs. The point is that Martingale EAs are impressive for a while after which they blow up your account. If you truly believe your code is quality then let us see an EA that takes one trade at a time with reasonable risk (SL) and performs. I bet that you don't have anything of the sort. The only way you can overcome this is to keep taking larger and larger positions to compensate for the bad entries. As clearly stated if an EA performs, most people will buy it after trying it out therefore the good developers get rewarded. Perfect example - MegaDroid. I'll leave it at that for now.

Re: [REQ] Forex Barometer - System 26
finimej..There was a earlier version called LEADER.. which was launched last year. bcos most of the logic codings are in dll, I have no idea what is it.
What excite me abt the system 26 is.. it use non standard TF e.g. M2, M3.. for the logic.. and has self opt feature.
What keep me wondering is the actual performance.. the statements on his website.. is it live account statements?
Can anyone investigate and confirm? thanks
hxxp://stashbox.org/542764/S26_forward%20test.zip
All this is is an super optimized EA. If u look closely at the end date for the live statements, you will see them ending on 5/10/2009 then opened again a week later at other brokers. There is no continuity of the EA since the optimization "ran out".
-
Re: [REQ]Lerosa
I would not get too excited about this EA. After looking at few live reports including the ones posted on the developer's website, one can clearly see that this is a Martingale approach. The increments are not 1,2,4,8 etc. but in smaller steps. It still is not exempt from eventually blowing the account. Personally I think it is a Fxespie spinoff. Trades look awefully similar..

Hi,
Can somebody share this EA with us? website: http://www.fxsignals4u.com/
I was reading few posts on this EA on other forum and it seems that it is worthwhile to look into it. The developer seems to turn it off during news via webconnect.
Also the developer offers a $35 trial for one month.
Many thanks
