hellboy1713006415 Posted November 21, 2012 Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 One thing I have noticed, the Market Profile calculation which is inbuilt with Market Delta/Linnsoft RT is unmatched till date by any others. I dunno why, but the profile comes perfectly with Market Delta, no other thing comes close to that, even foot print charts with delta etc are good, well they have been replicated by quite a few, but they have shortcomings, haven't used 8.1 beta, but lets see.hehe If anyone can hire Trevor Harnett to code for Multicharts then it woulde great, lol. nifty_Trader 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Later part is negligible especially considering today's fast paced computers but erroneous results like value area high showing something else is unaccepted. reason behind such issues in Multicharts is the way Multicharts handle historical data, for each and every section you had to call array and have to go through loops and have to make very huge code to walk through days session. whereas MarketDelta designed in such a way that they could produce good Marketprofile related studies. it handles historical data very efficiently, to do a rough comparison MarketDelta uses historical data like Excel sheets and Multicharts uses historical data like text append file, hope so 8.5 beta has some surprises in store since I assume they going to use inbuilt hard coded functions tweaked for TPO studies. Also, you can download others free Indicators. TPO Market Profile is a Price distribution. This indicator also work in Tradestation obviously, but Tradestation have Price and Volume Distribution in your settings. I cannot get the CORRECT setup file due to 1. I got the setup files after filled up the Trial form.
