If I’m not wrong, many countries still consider trading Forex as an illegal activity or highly risky asset. You may register and trade on any online Forex trading platform, but you’re on your own, your interest will not be protected & warranted. Otherwise, why not, for hedging purposes.

I also trade indices as my main favorite market: DAX_30 and Nasdaq_100. And I also trade sometimes futures: E-mini or micro Nasdaq_100, e-mini or micro S&P_500, mini-micro gold. That's why I marked also "others" in the poll.

Absolutely! I would say exactly the same... Where are the many many forexers? Or they all growth enough and changed the market to the less exciting one? 🙂

There are so many shady brokers around, if that was true, they would not exist

In general from the communities I'm in at the very least, it's harder for traders to find an edge in forex compared to other markets.

Although I still sometimes trade Forex and commodities, I mainly trade stock indices nowadays, mostly US30 and NAS100, and less so DAX30. That was why I also clicked the box for Other Markets.
