Eu/Chf will soon be headed north so many of the EA's that are now trading it and having good success because it has been in a tight range for quite sometime will not be doing as well in the near future. ;)

 

you cannot just buy and EA and let it run on your account unattended, thats what they tell you but the truth is they can be much more profitable if you as a trader "helped" them with user intervention now and then. :o

 

Cmon, when you see an EA take a trade you know is gonna hit big DD from your own charts, do you just let it go into DD or do you stop the EA and take the hit or do you hedge or take the trade in the other direction? :-?? There is no way I will let an EA trade my acccount 100% on its own, thats how accounts get blown........watch them, watch your charts and intervene when needed, dont let a trade go into BIG DD when all it takes is a click to stop that from happening.

The only accounts this has blown are when people set it up wrong. It is a DD system, if you don't like to trade that way that's your choice but for what it is its one of the best set and forget systems out there. EURCHF moving up will be great for this EA.

It works on EURCHF, EURGBP and USDCHF besides EURUSD. So it's only a regular upgrade and it really doesn't worth 700$. By the way, we can successfully use megadroid MultiCurrency on USDJPY, GBPUSD and AUDUSD.

Which trading system are you using for usdjpy and gbpusd? There is a choice of four yes?

The previous version is fine...it is a long term system and drawdowns are part and parcel of it. It is the slow road but running this and then say Megadroid at low risk on multiple pairs to add equity and you find things speed up. If you can't handle seeing your account in drawdown don't use this EA - its that simple. Personally I like grid-trading as part of a portfolio of accounts.

This new version is for people using US brokers...instead of closing orders in reverse order which is n longer allowed it closes all orders when open trades reach a pre-defined positive area say plus 1.5% of balance.

I use Alpari UK so will stay with the old version.

Hi Jacuesnze, I am not experienced enough to answer your question, but it seems to me that scalping would be good only in the busy hours of trading. It seems like the off market hours is a playground for unscrupulous brokers. Do you ever notice that you find a trade that fit all the criteria of a perfect trade according to you system guidelines, and then as soon as you open the trade, the pip movement stops and all of a sudden the trade goes against you? And when you exit the trade with a loss, once again pip movement stops for a while and the market movement starts to retrace and continue in it's original direction. This seems to happen much, much more during the hours that the markets are slow. When the market is moving in full force, the brokers are too busy with the big money boys to pay you any attention. Please tell this newbie what you think about my theory. I need all the advice that I can get. Thank You in advance.

I suggest you stop trading and read "Trading In The Zone" then restart fresh.

I use 0 and 100 for support/resistance then wait for a break of either. This most often than not will lead to price moving to at least the 138.2 extension. The best entries are when price retraces to the inner levels - 38.2, 50 or 61.8 after the break before hitting target. Also RR is better as stop is on the other side of the opposite level eg south of support if trading a resistance break.

I do not like conspiracy theories but it seems that each new version of xxxf@pturb0xxx gets worse.

First it was the "randomizer"...before that all accounts got the same good trades. Now every account is different, it doesn't seem to obey the rules...lots of little things.

Maybe they made a deal with broker, maybe the market conditions have changed, maybe the are preparing for new EA's release...who knows. The only way to know for sure is to run original version beside new one and check over time.

Here is the Version 16 decompiled...can someone please educate, and I will run new educated version, paid version and this original version on 3 different live accounts and compare results.

Do not want to bug you but I know your backtesting is spot so am very interested in what pairs you are running...

EURJPY took 13.5 pips today on default GMT. It went to +15, back down to +6, back up to +15 then closed for +13.5...interesting.

GBPUSD has been very quiet.

What pairs are you running on and what GMT - default or adjusted - if you dont mind me asking?

I am running EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY. Not sure about times so default on all.
