2001-2002 backtest burnt account at forexmeta. since we never know when forex market will change i only pass EA's that show profit every year so I put this in the fail bin. Just my system.

While I don't have money (yet!) to buy and distribute EA's here...I want to contribute as much as possible. I have backtested most of the EA's on here on several brokers and still the only ones that have passed my tests are fap turbo (I run this on EURCHF only), Megadroid, and Robominer.

I run live at Alpari UK, I have one account there and plan to split my account when it doubles and run the second account at slightly higher risk.

If I come across any more EA's that pass my tests (RR and strike rate that makes mathematical sense after spread, positive every year from 2001 to present) I will post here after testing live.

This is still performing well. DD went to around 20% but is now around 11% and has closed several positive trades recently.

I think this is a definite, long-term solid EA with large growth potential

Megadroid took out another positive trade for me last session. 100% positive to date. I am at Alpari UK, aggressive off, recovery mode off, risk 0.25 (25%)

In version 1.0 Auto does not work. Don't know about 1.1 but since GMT offset only changes twice a year and not on all brokers manual is easy.

This bot has made 100% positive trades since I began it when it was first put on this forum (V1.0). Backtest since 2005 95% strike rate (aggressive off), 89% (aggressive on) with RR of 4:1 - this bot is a winner.

i open account with 2500 so far i lost 1600 and using robominer now with drawdown of 410 may be i blow up my account soon, not very good

locle...i'm worried you don't understand how robominer works. did you start with 2500 and 0.01 lots? or you lost 1600 with another EA and now have 900...if so you will probably margin call. you need 2000 and 0.01 lots exclusively for robominer or your account is dust

i trade with fapturbo 44. (cracked version) on live acc. average profit 50 pips every day. (3 win 1 lose)

i trade with fractal wizard ( 2 & 3 ) cracked version) on live acc. average profit 50-70 pips

and if have time, i trade with manual system like pallada / profx before and after news. average 25 pips

if you want want succes, you must trade with a plan (no emotion)

fap turbo's TP is so small how do you get 50 pips a day? I use it too but not that good.

I've never heard of fractal wizard but will check it out.

This thread died quickly...I wonder sometimes if any of the hundreds of EA's on here actually are traded live or just die early.

I am still trading live f@p-turb0 but for now only on EURCHF after too many EURGBP stops. Also trading Meg@dr0!d live since it was put here for testing. Will update at the end of this month how my account has done. Currently up around 10% this month even after two EURGBP stops and one EURCHF stop. EURUSD has 100% strike rate for me to date.

What I would like to see cracked is the original fap version 17...I think I have this on my computer still. I wonder sometimes if the randomizer leads to some pretty poor entries as it wasn't till this started that we got such weird entries at mid-points of ranges.

I don't think the old megadroid has any bugs personally. The new one will work on ECN but with a spread of 1.8 at Alpari I'm pretty happy with my broker. Otherwise its just a brush-up with a few minor changes.

hmmm...backtest from 2005 looks good as does this year but 2008 backtest is just a rocky road with tons of stops and no real profit. gonna give this one a miss

Robominer should not burst an account if you use the default settings - 0.01 lots for every $2000 one pair or $3500 both pairs. The higher the leverage the better for this EA.

Please read the proof document on the site...this EA is a long-term grid trading system that does not use a stop loss. To be safe you need at least $2000 and the ability to trade 0.01 lots (one pair) or $3500 (0.01 lots) two pairs.

Wow...a million EA's cracked and shared here and only a handful that are actually being used. Makes me wonder if its worth the time...but we only need a few that work so I'll stick at it till I get them.

I trade fap turbo - EURGBP and EURCHF, and Megadroid. Would trade Robominer if I had an extra $2000. Thats all for now but always researching more.

Could anyone be so kind as to upload their initial backtest results to expand this thread? So many of these EA's turn out to be dead ducks...it would be nice to see an initial backtest just to get things moving. I can reciprocate by uploading backtests for megadroid in the appropriate thread...then we save our time until we know if they are worth it.

The results on their site look good though. EURUSD scalper, 9 pip TP and 35 pip SL - similar to megadroid but the times look more random.

The files I am using are from the first post in this thread. Things to check -

Have you enabled EA trading?

Have you set it up as they show in the manual? (if you have used EA's before you will know what to do already)

Do you have the .mq4 file in the /experts folder and the dll file in the /experts/libraries folder?

Is the EA showing any error messages?

Is your broker non-ECN, non-STP and with a spread lower than 3?

The easiest way to check it works (provided you have MT4 set right for EA trading and the files are in the right place) is run a quick backtest - just for the last week is fine. If it doesn't open trades something is wrong. If it does, its working, you just need to be patient.

Hope this helps...if not provide more details and I or someone else will be glad to help you get it working.

Alpari UK...but really for this bot broker should not be a problem. If your broker has spreads higher than 2.5/3 on EURUSD they are ripping you off. I wouldn't use ECN here either as its too jumpy.

When I checked this morning MD had made another positive trade and made 2.5%; and another trade was open. Will update with results if you like...
