As for fapturbo...I have been using this with good success lately. I use version 16 which I posted the uneducated version and someone kindly educated on USDCAD and EURCHF. I have paid for it but V16 is much better.

Can you give some details about your setup? ADT is default, +6 and +8 but this does not fit with 19-23 GMT does it?

I would be very grateful if you could post what charts you are running, aggressive & recovery setting and the risk on each. Thank you in advance! If live results come close to this we will be very happy EA traders.

I've been looking for "mdv1.1a multipair" everywhere, but to no avail. Would you be able to point to the link or post the version, please? MD v1.11 on EURUSD H1 in my FXDD account last traded on Aug 7. Nothing whatsoever for over a month now! So I am anxious to do something.

The same bot has traded on EURUSD Alpari Live multiple times since then. Maybe you need to look at a different broker for scalping.

You don't trade EURCHF? This was the top performer for me last month on Alpari UK live, GMT+1.

As a side, I also have had live EURUSD trades the last two days and account has grown 5% in 2 days. I trade EURUSD GMT+1 mostly with some risk on GMT+2 also as part of ADT settings...this plusMDPro is doing well so far this month. I get basically no USDCHF trades I think the spread kills it.

Spreads are the only thing hurting this, am looking at alternative brokers now.

I have run it on demo for ages...it does badly. I would like to see what happens if the trades are reversed ie it buys instead of selling and vice versa...

Have you used MD Multi live on USDCAD? How have the results been? I have been using MD Multi live on USDCHF at JadeFX with decent results.

Sorry I realised after this...I meant USDCHF. I use Multi for this pair over Pro. EURCHF MDPro performed much better for me last month, but still only 40 pips. USDCHF scored around 4 as did EURGBP. 4 pips each...pretty sad for an entire month. I'm not too happy with performance this month....but live EURUSD GMT1 had no losses.

I am live at Alpari UK Micro. Live this month: testing 1%: ADT EURUSD settings, MDPro EURGBP & USDCHF. Trading (5-25%) EURUSD and EURCHF (with original 1.0 version and MDPro). Other pairs just didn't backtest well enough. Will report end of the month. Also looking at opening scalper specific account with new broker in the near future.

Eur/Jpy: +9.03

 

Total: +38.63

How about logic and timeframe for GBPUSD?

I had some big hits on this pair using logic one and default GMT. Using Alpari UK, lately I am using GMT1 and have avoided the recent EU stops etc.

how is anyone getting 45% gain/week on Megadroid? I would like to know the settings that achieve this.

First, I don't like to use these for buy/sell but more for confirmation when I see a signal. Also to consider exiting a trade. I know there are the usual RSI, CCI etc which I like but I wonder if anyone has an indicator which combines these to make more of an averages OBOS indicator, something like the pulse indicator at the bottom of this link

I am at Alpari UK and trade EURUSD GMT+1 which means trades open 22:00-00:00 Alapri time. I want the trades within the same window for EURCHF and EUGBP so I also have these set at GMT+1 but I have had trades open at 00:33 and 00:59 for these pairs. Whats going on? Are the trading windows different?

Could you please add what logic you are using for EURJPY, USDJPY, USDCAD and GBPUSD? I am on Alpari UK Micro Live also and would like to test these additional pairs.

I am facing this memory problem. Have to off it during non MD hours.

Slow my computer.

 

I have tested the GMT +4 Advanced Droid. A big loss... Hurt so much.

Think I will test it in my demo. At least it will not hurt me so much.

To reduce the memory load on your PC:

1. For all charts open expand the candles to their max size.

2. Tools > Options > Charts. Change the two numbers at the bottom to 516. This will not be good for backtesting...install another instance of MT4 for backtesting and keep these numbers default.

You will notice a lot less memory use.

I also got stopped out on the strategy 2 trade. What i don't understand is why S1 closed the trade in profit but not S2 which had the better entry and a chance to close 8 minutes after opening for 9.4 pips.

I know sometimes we miss the entry signal, but it seems some times the exit signal is missed and from then the trade is on its own.

A friend had this before but not I, then today his S2 trade closed but not mine. Can anyone offer any insight why??

btw: looking these tactics and using the MD Vers.07 from Don (without .dll) and with time settings for S1 and S2,

I can use only 2 charts per pair instead the 4 used here and program to use first chart to trade from:

19->23

and second chart from

01->05

and same trading hours for S1 and S2

 

Or do I miss something?

mograst yes, with that version you don't need to open multiple charts as you can edit the times manually. much easier and less work for PC.

forexample, your code will not fix the problem. Just simply delete the useless codes, and you will be fine. The following code will be good for any brokers with different currency pair names.

I am trying to use this on jadefx but I assume that because they label pairs "EURUSDjfx" and so on that the other pairs won't be recognised and so will revert to EURUSD logic.
