Hi, I need to add a new data feed to the 8.0 version of Mutichartsx64.The data feed in am intrested in is present in multicharts from the 8.5 version.I was wondering if is possible to take the files that I need to add the new datafeed to the old MC from an installation of MC8.5 o higher. If this is possible and somebody already did this please tell me how to do that and I think that this will be usefull for many of us.

Thanks in advance for any help.

As someone told me, it seems that either CQG API and Rithmic API which are the same for Zenfire that is no longer avaliable, are out of date for this version of Multicharts. As the friend of mine told me, you must have the latest version of Multicharts with the new API updated to make it work. I stopped to use multicharts months ago, because my datafeed stopped to work with my cured version. This is what I know about your problem. Hoping it will be useful to you

there is a chance to resolve the issue or should I give up?

For Rithmic there might be a certificate somewhere in the program files of a newer version that you can overwrite into an older version if you specifically need the older version.

I need the version attached to post # 335 worked with CQG.

I have an account with CQG.

could you give me a hand to solve this problem?

This is the picture picked up from the Multicharts forum that the friend of mine which has the Multicharts Licence, sent me last summer when I had problems to connect to Zenfire with my MC 8.0

Now they are on Multicharts 8.8 version (not 8.7) and he said that Multicharts team was very clear on the forum about API fix or Update to new version release. They told that there were not possibility to have an API fix for customers who have MC 8.5 version or later 8.7 version, but the only way was for a platform update because it was not only a problem about certificates, but also files and new protocol to have Zenfire/Rithmic data. I tried the way for certificates before give up, but for me unfortunatly no results so I gave up definitly.

As I know, the same conditions were on CQG so I passed to Ninja.
