Update: i'd got blue dot (think it's exit signal alltf mp) so i exit 1st buy signal. -15 pip for me now.

I noticed that Master probability is not calculating properly. Not sure, if this is just for me or other members too

I used 15 mins TF, and switched to 1H & 4H TF too. But Master probability always fetched its value from 5M TF. If you see the attached image, MP should have been -21 for 15M TF, but is displayed -2 which is nothing but 5M TF

Not a good trade i say.. took three trades closed all of them for just a profit of $ 635.. i wanted to wait a bit more but just closed for some unknown reason...i dont know wat happened , i just pressed the panic button for no reason .. anyways less is more... Greed is my biggest enemy....

Got another one in E/U for a profit of $ 300.

 

Today's total profit is $ 935...

 

I am highly disappointed by myself today.. in my afternoon trades i just closed all trades for no reason whatsoever which could have given me another $ 400.. and now in this trade i just could not enter Sell in EU/JP and buy trade in U/C in time, i just sell e/u and almost forgot that i have two more trades to enter... wats happening with me today.. :-S

My indicator looks ok on the lower timeframes - I'm not sure how the indicator would be able to display the results you saw. Do you have the parameter UseRenko set to true by any chance? This should be false.

 

However, I noticed something a bit odd when looking at Monthly TF prob on the Weekly and Daily charts (not that anyone is using these at the moment), where sometimes it was showing 0 and other times 13 (which is what Master Prob shows for monthly).

 

I'll keep an eye out for any further problems and see if I can work out where any bugs could possibly be.

As you're a star performer with this system it would be interesting to hear a bit from you about how you decide which trades to enter...

 

Do you have a set bunch of currency pairs that you always trade with II_PipAccumulator on them all ?

 

I'm interested to know the process of how you intially select your trades.

 

For example, do you manually place lines at the recent swing high/low points, yesterday's high, low and close and any recent significant highs/lows on the 5m charts of each pair?

 

Then, so you wait for an II_PipAccumulator alert to sound before looking to see if there's a setup?

 

For example, if a we get a green arrow and are close to a recent swing high, then do you watch the screen more closely and enter long only if we have a closed 5m candle above the previous swing high and if probability is > 20 ?

 

Knowing the actual process of successful consistent manual trading down to these levels of detail will help us a lot in attempting to at least partially automate the system. Even if we just automatically enter trades at the optimum points leaving us to exit at the best time could potentially work well.

 

More importantly, as this is the manual trading thread, others could try similar tactics to see if they can improve on their own trading sucess rates :)
