Hi soundfx,

Thanks for the advice. Actually i did do a simple spreadsheet but didn't have time to post it just now, i scrolled back the chart to roughly screen through the entries and exits. And this is what i came up with. I know its not perfect but i just want to share it.

And also i prefer live forward testing with small lotsizes, won't hurt that much :) As for the II Prob Hist, i will look more into it during live trading.

Derricktan,

To address your question on why do i not use m5 timeframe. Its mainly because i am used to trading M15, i am used to seeing the price action in this timeframe. And if i were to change to M5, i don't think i can intepret the market movement more efficiently. Besides, i am trading my own M15 reversal strategy and looking at more than 1 pair's currency correlation so i find it better to focus on 1 timeframe. :)

Hello everybody, thanks for sharing evilspeculator. I think the solution to filter signals with EMAs 21 and long candles can be a good solution (especially in mess market conditions). I believe that the best method to entry in a trade is given by the master prob, more than 20 and less than 20 for long and short and near 0 for exit (i think i will look Parabolic Sar too for exit signal according master prob). Also have a look to the master prob of all TF could help to decide when to exit a trade. Next week i will try with these rules my trading strategy and i will post results. Edited by mangiare

would be great if there would be an option in the pip accumulator to draw an additional point or line or something else at that exact price level when the arrow is placed. so i would be able to backtest more easily

Don't trade when economic news done. I'm still waiting next fresh signal.

Buddy u r right . today i just broke my rule and i am hanging between -$100 to -$300 or so in eur/usd... if i had followed my rule then i would b sitting idle but no tension of loss.. :(

Discipline and patience hard to come.. still trying to attain them.. system is working great

Hi psaini! I understand I'm sorry about this. System working great, i agree but i think all systems when economic news released do messes and better solution is no trading in this time period. Keep always patience and discipline about your rules and always gone in right way.

I've added the entry price into the label which is attached to the arrows. If you hover over the arrow, you should see it. Occasionally depending on where the boxes are placed it's tricky to see the label for the arrow - just zoom in and you should be able to see the arrow label ok.

Piphore,

Can you modify the alert a little bit so when I choose only AlertProb = true, the arrow and box colors are not printed on the chart?

I've just checked this and provided you have all arrow parameters set to false then you don't see any arrows or boxes.

psaini,

I agree...patience is everything in this game :)

I hope you managed to get some pips back on the last sell signal.

In a market like this where EURUSD is well down on the 1H and 4H, it's probably best to ignore all buy signals and just take the sells.

Hi soundfx,

You can do a trend line indicator. ( PiPA_TRENDLINE)

Fractal with a fractal higher.( Purple)

Fractal with a fractal lower.( Purple)

Candle with a candle higher.( Brow)

Candle with a candle Lower .( Brow)

Top of the previous day, with the top of before yesterday. ( Gold)

Bottom of the previous day, with the Bottom before yesterday.( Gold)

With option D1 and one alert

Thanks in advance!

Take Look.

I was in a trade before the sudden change. I have to say it is the most spectacular trade I have ever been in by far. I had a SL but no TP. I wasn't even aware the market had gone berserk - I exited the trade after the retracement but very happy :)
