  1. Re: Megadroid Pro

Well, my EURCHF position was closed in profit. It catched a 0.00001 move. :)) Don't laugh! Profit is profit!

But my other USDCHF sell position that was opened at 00:35 (GMT+2) is STILL open! And it has -331 (-33.1) pips. And USDCHF is in a slight uptrend. Great. Never trust a pair which starts with "USD"... :)

I have just got the time to try it, so I can't judge it yet. However, I'm sure bbrain made a great work on it. The obvious advantage is that you don't have to mess with a separate .dll file (which made a bit of "black box" EA out of MD). Now, you can see the logics and all the functions that was hidden in the dll. BTW it should work like the original (I mean: the ee version).

Oops, in the meantime EURCHF took fire... err... a sell trade! :D It seems there will be a lot of actions tonight.

Ok, I have to sleep. Nite!

  3. Re: Megadroid Pro

Ok, I am running a short test for the latest unplugged version on the basic pairs, 20% overall risk. Let's see if there will be a trade or not. I have set MaxSpread to -1 to let the spread be determined automatically since my Alpari UK demo account has Flexible spreads since 31st July. X-(

I'll post the results here in the morning.

  4. Re: COMMING SOON!!!!COMMING SOON!!!!COMMING SOON!!!!

With no manual given, it seems a lot of members are trying to use this system on their own, mostly with success.

May I ask you all users to write here your observations and method of using this system? When to trade, where to enter, where to exit, TP, SL, fine tuning, modifications, adjusted (non-default) values etc.

Maybe we can put together a nice "manual" using your experiences. :-bd

If you want to take part of this "create-a-manual" project, then please begin your post with:

    "MY SUPERFOREX STRATEGY"

You can even use bold letters.

This way we can find these posts more easily.

    Thanks!

  5. Re: Megadroid Pro

...will Alpari UK find out that I'm using an educated version of Megadroid Pro? Could this be dangerous?...

    Hi jmwaraujo,

    Life is dangerous itself. ;)

However, Alpari and other brokers will not and can not investigate if EA's are educated or not. Now, even MegaDroidPro's authors can not do anything about it since the EA will NOT calling home anymore. From this point of view you're safe.

Lotsizes and risk and all other things... It depends on size of your account, your risk tolerance, Alpari's behaviour (uptime mostly, since stop hunting will not affect MDpro too much).

MegaDroid (the simple one) turned out to be a relative safe robot. I'm using it on my live account with success.

I do not use the Pro yet. As it turned out, it is unstable sometimes. Even if I can run it without any crashes since I made the multi-instance trick.

I suggest you to test the unplugged version. Life will be easier without that .dll file. :)

I don't really know anything about Alpari's new features. I'm sorry.

    I hope this helped somewhat.

  6. Re: ivy bot - decompiled

Well, the first "last" version (24th July) did opened a trade on EURUSD and it took the profit out at TP 110, which was a nice $110 at 1 lot. That's why I thought it works with 5 digits broker. (Alpari UK)

But I also find it suspicious because it writes out two digits spreads (38 pips, 30 pips, 18 pips etc.). And the very last version did not open a single trade all night. And the backtests are not terrible but not so profitable. (5-10% per 7 months?)

  7. Re: ivy bot - decompiled

Yes, it runs on 4 digits brokers, too.

BTW if you look at the images in the manual, then you can see that their recommended broker (BasicFX) is a 4 digits broker.

I'm on Alpari UK, which is 5 digits and the bot is working correctly, as well.

  8. Re: ivy bot - decompiled

I have started a forward testing of all four bots on a demo account, with default settings (no user's manual).

EURUSD bot immediately placed a buy order. The rest of bots are silent.

The "protection" in the EA is really simple. I guess the real protection will be the regular updates.
