Bbrain, I would implement that news filter in the .dll version, too, if you don't mind.

I am now using MDpro bbr v11 with 5 pairs for a week, on Alpari UK, live. Every day from 1st September was a profitable trading day, no losing trades so far.

But since I'm using it on Alpari UK classic live account, I'm really taking those wild rides regarding spreads. For example there was 14-17 (140-170) pips on USDCAD on Wednesday evening for loooong minutes or even a quarter hour.

I'm using MD's factory spread limits. What do you think, should I try to set higher spread limits? Or even try to disable spread limit watching? Or will my tiny profits turn to tiny-to-huge losses for sure?

(I know I should leave Alpari as a first step. :) )

I have just checked my live account with single MegaDroid on it. At the moment I looked at EURUSD the spread was 10.9 (109) pips! Alpari UK... 21:40 GMT

So, I think they found the "cure" against scalping robots with stealth mode... X-(

This version of MegaDroidPro has

1. Disabled Authentication

You can write any ReceiptCode or leave the field empty.

The .dll doesn't prevent buy & sell orders anymore if authentication fails.

No annoying "Not Authenticated" message is showing up.

It Does NOT calling home.

2. Applicable on any pairs

Not just EUR/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP and USD/CHF can be traded, but any pairs.

The pairs are traded by separate logics. The officially supported pairs are

traded by their own logics by default, but this CAN BE changed.

If you're start MegaDroidPro on an officially unsupported pair,

you have to choose by which logic should that pair be traded.

For this, there is a Logic variable among the settings.

The Logic variable can be set to EIGHT values:

1 - trade by the EUR/USD logic on an unsupported pair

2 - trade by the EUR/CHF logic on an unsupported pair

3 - trade by the EUR/GBP logic on an unsupported pair

4 - trade by the USD/CHF logic on an unsupported pair

11 - FORCED trade by the EUR/USD logic on an other DEFAULT pair

22 - FORCED trade by the EUR/CHF logic on an other DEFAULT pair

33 - FORCED trade by the EUR/GBP logic on an other DEFAULT pair

44 - FORCED trade by the USD/CHF logic on an other DEFAULT pair

The default is 1 (EUR/USD logic).

3. Spread limit can be freely changed

Some broker has higher night spreads at some pairs, therefore MegaDroid

often sent out the message: "Safe spread limit exceeded"

Therefore there is a new variable called MaxSpread.

If MaxSpread set to 0 (zero), then MegaDroid's default built-in

spread limits are used.

If MaxSpread set to other number, then that number will be used as the new

"Safe spread limit". If you're on 5 digit broker, then multiply it by 10!

You can set MaxSpread to -1 (minus one). This tells MegaDroidPro to set

the maximum allowed spread to the currency's actual highest spread.

This way you don't have to guess what is the correct value. This setting is

actually disabling the spread limit protection! (See Warning!)

Example: you want to trade GBP/JPY, but its spread is 7 / 10 (day/night).

Set MaxSpread to 10 (night spread) if you're on 4 digit broker.

Set MaxSpread to 100 if you're on 5 digit broker!

Set MaxSpread to -1 and spread limit protection will be disabled.

4. Trading times can be overridden

You can set freely MegaDroidPro's trading times. For this there are eight

variables. Four for Strategy 1 and four for Strategy 2. You can set

start hours and end hours only (no minutes).

5. Risk sharing among running instances can be disabled

By default MegaDroidPro instances are sharing the risk between each other.

It means that if you're running more droids on different pairs, then your

risk will not be multiplied, but equally shared.

The only problem is that if one of the droids is winning and the rest is not

placing any trades, then your profit will be also fractional.

This default behavior can be switched off by the RiskSharingEnabled setting.

To try preventing crashes, please delete the old .dll file from the

experts\libraries directory, then MegaDroidPro.ex4 and .mq4 from the

experts directory.

Then please place the new .dll to experts\libraries directory and

place ONLY MegaDroidPro.mq4 to experts directory. So don't place the .mx4

to the experts directory. This way MetaTrader will compile the source code

to its taste and hopefully will not crash in the future.

The .mx4 file is just for reference, you don't need to place it anywhere.

Warning! MegaDroidPro is a scalping robot! If you set MaxSpread too high or

trade pairs with too high spreads, then it may lead to large drawdown or

even account blowup! Try to trade the pairs with the tightest spreads!

There are changes in the .dll file, also the .mx4 has an option that makes MDPro compatible with the new NFA (FIFO) rules.

The cracked/exeprotected file works on XP ONLY. Not on Vista!

It does not have a virus, it works perfectly.

If you don't like virus alerts, then do not use it. Using 4.0 is not the wisest way, since there is a lot of improvement since that version.

mograst, as I see, magic-setup-3 creates a label object with the name "riskno" and text value "1.5" . Then this object is drawn on around the left upper corner of the chart.

Maybe a candle or other object hides it from you. Move things a bit to get it appear. If you're using the script on a chart with white background color, then you won't see this object, as it is also white. I suggest click somewhere 50 pixels under the symbol name. If you got "something" framed, then you've just catched it! :)

Now, you can see 1.5 on the chart (or catched it by clicking around).

Right click on it and select "Label properties..." from the popup menu.

There is a "General" tab on this window. In the Text field there is a 1.5 text. You can change this for your need. Like 5.0 or similar.

You can also change the color of this label by clicking on the color pulldown menu, which is showing "White" now.

If you're ready, click OK. Hopefully the script will "get" the new risk value for its further calculations.

Not a virus. It's just an exe protector that uses "weird" techniques for protecting its content from being viewing. These techniques are bugging antivirus softwares.

I was after VisualTrader too, but I could not find it anywhere. But MagicLines is basically the "same". A fast way to manage your trades by dragging entry/SL/TP lines on the chart.

What settings are you using, Hacker?

I've found that DragonPips is working best on EURCHF, 22h to 6h my time (it's 20-06 GMT), LotsOptimized true, LotDecimal 2, Risk 40, Maxtrades 3, Spread 40-60. (Alpari UK, 5 digits)

This gives me a relative smooth profit curve. If I try to widen or narrow the trading hours, then the curve is getting more and more choppy. It's interesting, as the manual suggest a two hour trading per day (23-01 GMT as far as I know). Also, if I leave MaxTrades on the default 5, there are more and more losses appearing. I have figured it out that 3 is the right number here (for EURCHF).

The idea of revealing exact (or slightly modified, copyright-ripped, renamed etc.) copies of other EA's is great. Nobody want to put down money for a free or already bought stuff.

However, please make sure that free version CAN achieve the same or better results as the "fake" ones can before put it on the list just by judging the "similarities" of the source code.

Sometimes these EA's are modified to reach better results. For example I can get smoother profit curves and better trades with Europe Waves than Thunder4W. Is it just matter of settings? I don't know. I've played with Thunder for several hours and could not achieve the "finer" results as the EW produces by on its default settings. However, the source codes obviously the "same" (very close).

BTW, I won't buy a 2009 Ford Mustang, either. It's just a copy of a 1911 Ford T-model. Both has four wheels, engine, steering wheel, doors, windshields, brakes, exhaust pipes, lights, seats, gearbox, pedals, instruments etc. Both are basically the same, built on the same idea, for the same purpose.

Well, this is not a trading system, not an EA, not an indicator. Yet I'm placing it here, because it helps manual trading in MetaTrader.

This piece of code is empowering MT4 with a feature what is very similar to TradeStation order handling lines. It seems to be a perfect tool for manual trading. You don't have to mess with that big order box. Just drag the entry, SL and TP lines wherever you want and that's it!

It works with MetaTrader. It imports live data from it.

However, you must place the orders manually in MT.
