I also didn't have any crashes after I started to test the multi instance idea. Before that it crashed badly with EURGBP logic, and a few times with EURCHF logic. I'm on Alpari UK, as well.

Oh, and I have Vista with 4GB (3GB) of RAM.

I would think that "things are coming together" at people who got crashes: Alpari UK, little RAM, mistakenly re-using a logic within the same instance etc. But it's just a guess. :)

No, "ee2" will not go for more than 4 pairs without crashes. And that 4 pairs are needed to use 4 different logics.

Maybe if you would open (install) a new copy of MetaTrader? But that is also brings up resource problems, as I guess.

Interesting stuff. I have backtested on Alpari UK, 2009.01.01 - 2009.07.16., everything default, $2000 starting balance.

The logfile is full of OrderModifyError 130.

There was 15 trades only.

Profit is 5854.20, overall balance 7854.20

No losses.

Relative Drawdown is 30.5%

Curve fitted? Martingale? Probable Grail? :-?

Just a friendly reminder to everyone:

Please DO NOT use the simple "ee" version, since that one uses the EURUSD logic for ALL pairs! That is NOT good!

You can use the "ee2" version if you will trade the default 4 pairs only.

Or you can use the "ee2x" version if you want to try more than 4 pairs or pairs with the same logic used.

(But the best idea to wait for a bugfree version before place it onto live accounts...)

Theoretically, yes.

However, there was once a trade which was opened at around 0:05 and closed at 3:35, with a profit of 1 pip (Alpari pip, so it was really 0.1 pip :D )

Yes, Alpari UK is on GMT+2 now.

In backtests use GMT+1.

As you said, the default shocka doesn't open trades after 14h, are most of the losers opened after 14h?

thy2k5, I don't run this robot, I have no experiences with it. In backtest I didn't notice any significant changes with or without allowing Friday trades. Maybe in live it counts. I don't know.

I saw the Friday 14h and 19h things in the code, I did not try them out.

Then he will stop giving away his system for 2-3 weeks while he makes some money from it in his country.

Then he will restart "the big system give away" in late August here.

He just want us to be patient before we start sharing his system everywhere, because he want to make some money in exchange of his efforts. I see no problem here.

anyone know how to set MT Predictor to automatically refresh the opened charts?

I did the following:

Open the chart in MTPredictor you want to refresh.

From the main tabs on the top choose "Chart Data and Display".

From the leftmost section (Chart Setup/Update) choose "Ascii Update Timer".

You'll get a window with a table. Select e.g. the first row and click Edit.

You'll be asked for the Start Time, End Time and Minutes between updates. I have wrote 0:00, 23:59 and 1 here. Click OK.

Now, click the edited row again and if the "Status" is OFF then click the Status On/Off button (rightmost, above Edit).

From now on, that row (chart) will be updated. You can set other charts here to be updated, as well.

If you're ready, then click Start Updates in this window, on the right bottom corner.

Then click OK.

The window will disappear and you can read "TIMER ON" in the "Chart Setup/Update" section on the left.

In order to really get the updates, you should run MT4 and the Historydata indicator in the background, on the appropriate chart(s).

Forex Shocker v1.1 with NoTradeOnFridays -option:

The default setting for "NoTradeOnFridays" is TRUE. You can find it in the Platform Hours section.

On backtest there are a few Friday "moves", but those are just closing of trades, no new trade is opened if this option is enabled.

BTW the EA is handling Friday trades itself, too. Like it does not open trades after 14h etc.

It didn't like my regional settings, especially the decimal separator. My national setting uses comma as decimal separator. MTPredictor requires point. After this change it recogized the files and their contents in the directory the indicator saved them.

Yes, I had problems with finding the ascii data, but finally I've managed to make MTPredictor to recogize the directory where the data is being stored.

And I'm glad to read about your success.

I think I'll spend this week for chasing EAs, but then I'll begin to learn MTPredictor. I don't hear too much bad about it. :-bd

Hacker, all I can say is about the S2 crash problem is that I told to hyperdimension: I have tried every dll and ex4 combinations and it crashed every way. My multi instance-thing seemed to work the best, but it seems it's not resolves the problem completely.

We need an "original" customer of the new FapTurbo who also got MDPro and can run the "virgin", unmodified code with the right authentication. I bet s/he will get crashes, too.

And I also bet there will be released an official v1.10 sooooon. :D

Until that time I would not (and will not) use MDPro on live account.

I also get windows error when I'm attempting to run the cracked exe. But I have Vista.

I have a virtual machine with XP SP2 on it without any antivirus and other programs in the background. I have installed MTP there with the crack and it loads and works perfectly.

I don't know what's going on with this.
