  1. My thanks as well, cacus!

One question: after using this live for some time, how often have you found that the EA needs optimization? If so, are you doing it monthly, quarterly, after a loss, etc.? Just curious about how you are applying the strategy.

  2. Thanks for that, Chip4Pips. I'm doing what I can to pressure them to solve the problems.

Bumped my Slippage on all charts to 30 pips with no effect. Still getting OldTicks.

There are about 150 of them, covering all of the charts, and all with the identical timestamp, which seems odd.

They were trying to blame it on my location in the US and had no answer when told that I was using Crucial Paradigm VPS in Sydney.

They have now co-located a server with CNS in San Diego, so maybe that one will help. I don't know. It seems they are overwhelmed.

  3. Not a fast mover, but it's doing OK for me using EURUSD (alt pair USDCHF) and AUDUSD (alt pair NZDUSD). I am using licensed version.

Also, if using this EA on multiple pairs, you need to change the magic number even if pairs are different, otherwise EA will place t/p for the wrong pair (i.e. newly initiated AUDUSD t/p will be placed on open EURUSD trade).

  4. Anyone still running forward test?....I gave up...too many losses.

Looks like it's not enough to have a series of ticks in same direction to catch a breakout

Maybe using a pip amount within a given time span...x pips up/down within y seconds...gives safer entries?

That's an idea I have seen discussed and used in a manual trading system over at FF.

The guy uses 8 pips in five seconds as his entry trigger, with a 3 pip stop.
