Trend Pullback System: Perhaps Best Entry Signals Ever! (share)

Recommended Posts

I have been trading this system for about 2 weeks. Although looking at the charts do make it look profitable, however the signal is only generated after the price has moved atleast 10 pips after crossing the 25/75 on StoRsi. Sometimes price moves really fast like 25 pips painting 3 bars, as well as giving a signal. This in highsight make the signal look godly. I have been trading the signal during europe/american hours, however so far the signals that are profitable occur from 3:30am to 5:30am EST and 8:30 to 9:30EST. Other times, the signal is generated however prices usually seems to be stuck around the entry point. If the currency is trending, only then can this bring good profits, however it will eat your profit during ranges.

What other filter do you guys use? I have thought about use volatility meter and currency comparision. How can we bring these in sync with this system.

The other problem is the exit, once price gets stuck within a bar, I usually pull out only to find the price advance 25 into the move. what techniques could be used to stay into the trade?

I think this system can become good if traded with price action agreement on the 4-hr, hourly chart. Be careful in the currencies seem to be in ranges.

What a fantastic system. All credit to you.

Like most scalping systems it is probably best to check for the more significant news announcements to avoid trading in such unsettled periods. I do have an indy for this though http://www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php is s imple enough way to check.

Backtesting again confirms what we all know, that it is best to trade in line with longer term trend based on higher timeframe and to avoid ranging market.

I have had a brief look at pairs other than gu and eu but these look most promising. Anyone had any joy with others?

I have also looked at other indys to gain more confirdence. For example, I do like QQE as per Rebellion. This is showing promise as a good tool to avoid misleading signals though, in fairness, simply looking at the PA is probably as good.

I have also tried using my old market bias indicator (the compound lines at the bottom) This simply plots marketbias in a series of timeframes. Anyhow, see what you thinK

Its only good on eurusd and gbpusd. Looking at others, even when they are trending does not give good signals. I checked this system with on 3 mt4 broker plaform and the results vary a bit. Sometimes the signal is not generated on one of them. For example StoRSI would be sharper on one compared to the other, where it would be more rounded in the 25/75 area. The rounded one would give the signal while the sharper owuld'nt. If you are profitable with this system, please pm me your broker's name so i could try it on demo.

Acerinvest, I will try your indicators. Did you backtest with these indicators as well? Would the trending indicator function properly on a range chart? Do report your results after using the system.

The answer is that it is working briliantly. I have tried it with three trades so far though all on demo account. All Wins so inspiring.

The market bias indies are ones I designed in conjunction with the Cazador system so are available on this site but for convenience I will upload them again so everyone can give them a go. My coding skills aren't that great so to provide five lines you have to load three indys on one chart i.e. MKBias1, MKBias2 and MKBias3.

Today I share with my Indo friends my proprietary Trend Pullback System. I have been working on it for a long time and think it's pretty special. It is a range bar system and has the uncanny ability to often identify the exact bottom bar in a countertrend pullback and enter on the open of the next bar! From an entry standpoint, it doesn't get much better...

Here are some recent charts. The arrows are mechanically placed by the system and not repaint:

Of course, nothing's perfect. There are rare times like the following where the market is choppy. Any suggestions dealing with "Choppy Market" appreciated.

Here is the system itself, with all the indicators, a template and a word document that fully describes the system and how to set it up on your Metatrader 4 chart.

You are all welcome to use it with my compliments! But if you use it, I am not responsible. Also you may not sell it.

I am happy to share with you all. I have a top level coder who I will be paying to potentially create an EA starting

Thursday. I hope that you all will take a close look at this system and suggest improvements. Particularly I am interested in things like Trade Management and filtering of bad signals. Any ideas appreciated. Now is the time to do it, before the EA specialist begins. Oh, by the way, if it works out OK, I will be sharing the EA to all the folks here with my compliments so let's make this the best system ever !

PS My sincere thanks to Indo brothers Stovedude, Alright and Musketeer for their able assistance along the way !
