No, the EA is doing that. It was one of the changes in 1.2f for safety. If the ATR filter kicks in, the pending orders are cancelled. Can't blame this one on the broker.

There is a new parm, DeletePOATR. Set this to FALSE and you should again see the behavior you want.

I did notice that there's an error in the file read code for the random magic number. He has FileReadInteger where I think it needs to be FileReadString. Probably best to avoid using RandomMagic until this gets sorted.

Yeap, need to check on the Magic Number File Function. The Random Magic itself works nicely itself so far. Thanks BobR

Hi everyone NFP has just finished for this month and attached to this thread is the demo statement for CableLarikan ok 24H. Just a quick note anyone who has just arrived to this thread all questions answered and downloads obtained by searching the thread. @-)

Before NFP there was a sudden down drop in GBPUSD earlier yesterday and this account suffered about -$3200+ DD. Lots of trades open that should have been closed previously. I decided to cheat a bit and use the "Basket Profit" EA available in this thread and set the basket profit at $300 (for safety) and thus all trades close when this TP is reached. Lucky the GBPUSD went up far enough... what if it didn't? ~X(

Imagine doing this with real money. Wow. :-bd $3000 to $13127 in 10 trading days 0.1 lots.

what if it hasnt gone far enough up, account kaput maybe.

right now its just crazy volatile up and down, ideal for this baby.

and for the poor suckers like me living in usa, no more cable run with the puny 50 leverage, arggggg.

I think the strategy is pretty save to use when you follow some rules and have the ATR settings right. It does not matter if it is cable run or Indo Run though. We have established prior already that news are the main driver for drawdowns. So how to catch this, either change ATR settings or switch the EA off before a major news release. Next week is a FOMC ruled week...

I have had Indo Run on Demo this week. Not consistent on Tuesday and Thursday, 8 hours off on each of these days. While trying a different ATR setting I did not catch the NFP just now. Results till now looks pretty stable, or?DD 1.08% only

Will put it into a live account by end of next week.

My results using teknomage version for 2 days broken trading are to take a dummy account from - $2600 to -$60 using 0.1 lots. In about 4 hours on Friday it made around $1500 which was interesting as I had Trade Friday to false. Pretty amazing to watch this thing work at times when conditions are right

In about 4 hours on Friday it made around $1500 which was interesting as I had Trade Friday to false. Pretty amazing to watch this thing work at times when conditions are right

today was nfp day, and it was zig zag, so perfect in a way. the way i understand this beast so far is that a runaway trend can get you into trouble.

ATR 5 has been experiencing less DD so far compared to 7 but early days. Profit mode explained in #320.

The setting Minprofit 1.5 is for when you use 0.01 lots. 15 for 0.1 lots.

i've a question about this point, if we choose 0.05 or less than 0.10 lots,

what is the best setting ???
