That's a tough call, all my indicators show signs of a possible reversal, but still don't give the go ahead for going short. You might be lucky and catch a nice wave when the asian session starts. Very unlucky about the 2 previous trades btw, but atleast be happy in the knowledge your systems working :)

what was unlucky about the last two trades? The first one i just hoped in a bar to soon but if you had of noticed it turned out ok as long as you protect yourself as soon as price gets to support or ressistance or center bollinger band which ever is first ,take half position and bring stop to break even.

Remember Rome wasn't built in a day,so trading to me is about gradual profits, not quick losses.

Sorry, I must have read wrong, I was under the impression you correctly identified 2 trades but were too busy to take one, and stopped hit you sl before another bloomed, that's all I was saying unlucky about :s

Thanks for the tips anyway, in particular your buy and sell Bollinger bands guides.

No worries and the technique/system was produced by Dean Saunders i'm just testing it.

Opened Sell on AUD/CAD had ressistance and 365 confluence see how we'll do

Not too shabby stop at break even take half position around center bollinger bands or support area what ever comes first... then hope like hell it reaches target number 2 either way its a free trade.

i entered on the retrace of the candle and not on the open of the bar like i should've and also i felt alittle rushed when taking this trade because i thought it looks too good to pass up hopefully works out time will tell.

Hello Benny, just looking to download your temp and indi's. How are you finding the system? which pairs do you trade and what TF. (looked through posts but missed them if you've already said)

Indicators and template

http://www.4shared.com/file/eRB38btA/IndicatorsTemplate.html

I consider it more of a technique ive learned rather than a system, and it was develloped by Dean Saunders and is called the Powerband method.

I trade any pair really that gives me a descent spread at the time.

timeframe is the 4hr charts.

Good call on the 1st 2 retractions! I think it will break through the 1st resistance at .69650 or at .69722 and continue upward. Although the recent trend over the last few days seems to mirror the waves from jun16 to jun25, so there might be something to that!

But that's just a basic guess, I trade on m15 myself and really amn't used to H4 ;)

It looks like a bearish gantley is formed on nzdusd, I reckon it'll go short and continue down to the .70000 - .69949 range, after that not a clue.

Thanks for opening me up to the nzdusd pair, it seems very trending and a tad more predictable than eurusd.

Congrats on the 112 pips, sorry bout the earlier mistake, my gartley indicator was the only indicator relevant to the h4 timeframe, and it looked promising :/

I'm interested in what you think will happen now (it's at .71905 at time of writing), you could trust fibs and hope it gets to .73041 which is where the last major stop was felt (apart from the very last stop, which has already been passed), but it's been going strongly long now for a while now, and stoch says it's pretty overbought.

Also, do you take news into account when trading? With the amount of news reports coming out every day I'd imagine it can be a bit dodgy setting a medium term position when a report could turn everything on it's head.
