I also observed that Alapri UK has widen the spread in Asian time today. GBPUSD can go as high as 10 pips. I think they want to discourage scalping during Asian time. that's bad for traders.

 

Hmm.. I am thinking of using alpari UK. Seems that it is a bad choice.

I think I will stick back to Forex com UK. These morning (Asian Trading Time) I got a rude shock. My fractional spread will as low as 1 pip for EurUsd for a while before going back to 1.8 to 2 pips spread. (Also got a winning trade with it.)

Hmmm.... Is there a way to set a trail stop with MDPro or, it is already inside?? How to use it?

No... Using AudUsd is only from 12th Aug. But, this is the only 2nd time i got a AudUsd trades.

Both r positive winning near 4 to 6pips.

 

1st trade is on 17th Aug

2nd trade is on 19th Aug

 

Still under testing.....

Yep, I got hit with that one too.

If it stayed open it would have eventually broken even, but it didn't.

No need to worry much, because recovery mode kicks in.

 

I will check the spreads at Alpari UK.

If they are smart, they may bump the spreads up but still let us trade.

If they are stupid, they will push the spreads above the max spread and I will change brokers.

MD trades at Alpari UK EURUSD between 23:00 - 01:00 for GMT+2. how do you get those times for entry and exit?

I've done some backtests for the recent past and got good results for these settings. And I'm using the EURCHF strategy.

Please compare the following two statements. How did this guy made so many trades this week, although most of trades are big losses. I also doubt the statement on MD official website. It does not have any trades recently. Of course can not get hit.

As you can see eur/chf got hit yesteday. Eur/chf has been very trendy last two days in asian hours. Let's hope this will stop (It also got hit on other scalping EA ). Still 57pips of profit though. This is why it's good to have more pairs with lower risk setting then just one.

So, I think they found the "cure" against scalping robots with stealth mode... X-(

Really??? I've also an account on Alpari UK and max spread I've seen for EURUSD was 2.4!!!

I just saw the GBPUSD jump from 4.5 to 9 on Alpari UK, and then down again.

Strangely, I'm still up from GBPUSD and USDCAD trades.

USDCAD is the one complaining the most now about the spread being over 6 (it's something like 8)

 

What utter BS this is.... X-(

It gets worse on Alpari UK....

The spread on the EURUSD was 2.4, and AS SOON AS Megadroid went to make a trade, the spread jumped to 4.2 and prevented it, then dropped back down to 2.4

It's almost as if they have a program to detect when megadroid is going to make a trade, and then they jack the spread up!
