bbrain it seems your megadroid xe has some bugs optimizing the pairs megadroid officially traded, please look at that

 

eurusd and eurgbp in the broker tada i cant do any optimizations with them, i dont know about the other. just do a version with the custum parameters please without linking to any pair in concrete

Not the best trading session, but profitable anyway.

 

One hanging USDCHF trade... *sigh*... if I can't manually close this one without much loss, it looks 5/6 of my pairs will be in recovery mode for the next session!

 

Also, I have a question for those of you using JadeFX... how different are the spreads between demo and live on their platform? In demo, JadeFX trades like a madman because the spreads are so low. Megadroid feels confident to make more trades.

I want to test these brokers on monthly bases to see which broker could be best for us... I also wanted to share with you which broker accounts I'm testing, so maybe somebody can suggest me which one of these brokers should be avoided for sure (if there is such) and which one have your respect and can be added to the test list.

and i test for starding the trading at 21:00 ! last night i had good results ! 7 win trades

Here are mine yesterdays results on TadawulFX (demo for now), 10 winning trades although 3 barely made it to positive. I can confirm now that tadawulf's datasheet on demo and live acc. are not the same. You get 2pip difference between them on EUR/USD :-? I don't notice any difference in other currency pairs.

I can't get the MD Pro XE to remain profitable. It seems that the stop losses are too huge and immediately wipes out the profits of several smaller trades.

Yeah ... Just when I begin to think that it's a winner with several consecutive $10-$30 profit trades, it tends to go and lose $150 from one single trade.

 

At least the losses from the original MD aren't so huge compared to the profits.

Do you have agressive setting turned on? This will cause MD to open 2 trades of the same pair sometimes. It makes MD more profitable but also causes higher drawdowns.

Yes. OK... I will turn it off so that it will not open too many trades.

 

Must end my heart attack if not cannot live long to see myself as a forex trader. now still learning as much as I can.

Personally, I wouldn't and don't trade JPY pairs! It's too risky during the asian session!

 

So far the most profitable pairs for me have been the GBPUSD, and USDCHF strangely enough. Both of these pairs have had a good run this month. All the other pairs registered some losses... all of them small and managable, and easily recovered with the notable exception of the EURUSD which has had a really bad month... even for standard MD users.

 

Despite all this, MDPro has still been profitable this month. Actually if it wasn't for MDPro on the other pairs and I was just trading MD on the EURUSD, then I would be in the red.

 

If you run MDpro and if your account is not profitable after an entire month, then I wouldn't use it.

.... but for me - with the exception of the rare EURUSD double loss session, every trading session has been a good one.

....and if it continues to be profitable month after month, then I'll keep using it. I've seen where the backtests are capable of taking me if I just stay patient. I'm quite satisfied with an account that gains 20% per month. An account that at least grows in relative safety like this is a godsend.

For me 20% per month is superb :) Even constant 10% per month is very good result for EA.

Has anyone tried the one pair missing from the majors list:

AUDUSD?

 

The GBPCHF has large spreads, perhaps the AUDUSD could replace it?
