konorti Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 Re: [system] Cluster indicator system and prototype EA What I have been playing with couple of days ago: I modified the dashboard, to indicate with different color when a stronger pair on ccfp is turning back from a weak point (stronger pair turning up, or the weaker pair turning down) on cc. When I checked (13/07 at around 20:30) it There were 3 signs on daily, and one on m15. I just marked the prices on the charts when I saw the signals, as I was just interested what will happen some time later. Actually quite good results came out. I am still woking on the dashboard, but I think I will come back with a ready version when I came back. I checked some sample indicator in java, but the actual symbol is not referenced. Can you imagine that you can't call info from other pair? Does Dukascopy has all the pairs needed for cluster? Have you checked? I also attached the modified noextern indicators, as I modifeid them to calculate just with the last 50 bar. They look a bit different if you attach manually, I don't know how significant is the difference, but can be put up to 100 or 150, I just wanted to make it faster as it should calculate more with the new cluster dashboard. I am still thinking whether we should use the distance on ccfp comparing to the widest one for example. I noticed, that this turning signals on shorter timeframes are not very correct (or just dont know how to use them), and they are quite rare, as I write this message there is none of the bright color signals. Maybe an alert can be put in. and so on... I have lots of ideas, maybe not all is good. Keep on communicating :). sorry I found a mistake in it I will upload shortly the correct one here is the corrected version: slil.ru/27838394 And it is interesting, that the mistake was that it gave the sell for the euro pairs on daily, when ccfp was stronger for one pair, and turning was against the stronger currency (EUR). Probably in a very trending market these trades wouldnt have been successful. Most likely in sonsolidation both turining can be used. The cc_divergence calculated only the pair on the chart and does not take in all the pairs into calculation. Maybe shall have another indicator like the complex pair but calculated all the pairs. Back to the cluster indicator trading manually, look at the GBPCAD daily. it has came to the support level, and have the positive divergence for the dubble botten. It is currently under the buy signal, however, it may make a double top here and return now to the channel. see the past pattern. Just careful buy and also prepare for the down turn. Everybody thought the EURUSD was going all the way to 1.4770, it may not have the force all the way up to there now.
