konorti Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 Re: [system] Cluster indicator system and prototype EA After work I chose the very strong JPY against GBP and CAD (on CCFP however it was in positive range, still going down) During one hour (at the end a little bit in the retracement) I could make unbelivable 285 Pips. Calculating with starting from a 10000 USD account, and risking 3% of account (theoretical of 30 pips stoploss - however I didnt have time to put any stoploss or takeprofits) the account would have grown to 13149 USD. That is 31% growing in account size. I used resistant fibo levels, and trendline breaks as entry, and fibo levels as target. My theoretical stopploss would have been previous swing high. The only loser was closed earlier as price action seemed reversal, closed earlier than previous swing high. There is a mistake on the second image, I It counts the theoretical account sized growth from the total pip profits as well, sorr for that, just don't take it into consideration. That is the reason I am saying we have a very good indicator for finding good tranding markets. Maybe we dont even need, what I suggested with that indicator. The negative div. on EUR or just the swing high with stronger and stronger USD on CC (at selling at its weakest points? The nice is that you sold on a very-very high price, and probably you didnt think thtat that was the last moment of the uptrend. Even if you close it around 1.4000 would have been very nice. And probably you thought as well, but you could use mt4 as charting, and execute on Dukascopy for example (but you want to build an EA, yeah). It is a bit bizarre idea, but buy/sell signal can be written to file, and Jforex EA would read the file, also for closing the position. I have this problem as well, apparently my live account at IBFX should be closed, but as I want to move money to GBP account, I hope this downtrend goes on for a while :). And I still dont have any idea on brokers. UK one would be better for me, as wire transfer would be really fast and easy here. FXCM UK or Alpari UK maybe. Oh, sorry, they only accept USD as account base currency. non metatrader is Dukascopy. the charmy is once you touched the JForex platform, you never want to touch the metatrader chart trading. Aren't they NFA regulated and in USA? No hedging :(. And I don't understand what is the connection with FXCM UK? I will have a look in that jforex charting :). What I think is that cc and ccfp indicators a ver good, but the cc_divergence indicator is based only on the current currency pair (Finimej, am i right?), as I am looking the code. It is the difference of a fast and slow moving average of high, low, close and open. It adds all the differences and devides by 4. In different timeframes it uses different periods. This indicator doesn't not give more info about multi currency, so instead of this rsi, and macd can be used, and any price action (like pinbar) for trigger. I must say, I am in loving with the spread, fast execution, safety of funds, nice support. Java program language is a good structured language, so it is hard not to check in lite deeper. another imformation. FXopen ECN Level II is a bridge for dukascopy, it has same spread, commission and order book as dukascopy. But the account is at FXopen (not so good reputation), and order execution time is slower. About ATCbroker, they are good. BUT their server is in NY, and the order execution time is around 2 seconds for me, too slow. ATCbrokers is IB to earlier hotspotfx, and hotspotfx is bought by FXCM active trader. 2) The secrete of the cluster indicator is in the cc and ccfp. A good trader, always ask himfirst, which pair is the best pair to trade today. cc is useless on M5 timeframe. anyway, on higher timeframe CC and ccfp gives you the overview of the general condition of the market. 3) the cc_divergence is just no more better than stochastic, and MACD, it calculated the current pair on the chart.
