Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

Matias,

Try this I found there was an error in the StopLoss, fixed it to be hidden also.

Basically it did not open the orders due to an invalid stoploss.

Please test and let me know how it does.

Thanks.

ok,

let´s rock.

Guys,

I have picked up a few small issues today during forward test on 5 digit brokers, working on fixing it. Will post an update as soon as it is done.

Oh yes and forget about using this on any US regulated trader seeing with the new Hedging Rulings.

It will either make only Sell's or only Buy's

Futron,

I have to praise you for your work. It´s acting much better than before.

But I saw some small isues, though. Corrected no lo isea trades the same way as the original one,

but it still loses some trading opportunities. You know, if I was programmer, I wouldn´t bother you,

it would have been fixed and posted long time ago. But if you could possibly have a look, if you have some time, would be very appreciated. ;)

Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

Matias,

Here is the update. Don't know know how this happened but it seems my mod is more profitable than the original ISEA. On the backtests on Sigma from 2009/07/03 - 2009/07/10

Original ISEA with 0.01 Lot $50.00

Broker - Sigma

MoneyManagement = false

lotsize = 0.01

UseHourTrade=false

All other setting Default

Net Profit = 361.64

Maximal DD = 5.79%

Relative DD = 5.79%

Modified ISEA

MoneyManagement=false

lotsize = 0.01

UseHourTrade = false

Slippage = 0

TakeProfit = 2

StopLoss = 29

MA_PipsAway = 2

Net Profit = $ 705.49

Maximal DD = 0.05%

Relative DD = 0.05%

You will notice I set Slippage to 0 this caused The EA to miss a few trades.

Attached is the new version it works like a bomb !! Still need to test and optimize for other brokers will post the .set as soon as I am finished with it.

futron:

Don't you think that Sigma broker is too unreliable? Do you have a Live account in Sigma?

Anyway the EA is great :)

aquila1,

Nope don't have a live account with Sigma, this EA won't really work with default settings on many brokers out there.

any broker with a Spread on EURCHF more than 3 would be hard to make any money also Sigma offers unfiltered data which I have as yet not seen at any other broker.

The whole point of this excercise is to try and get this EA working on other brokers but yes it is not easy.

Had some great success on backtests with modified version and a few adjustments here and there, running forward tests on other broker with these settings and mods to see if it will really work if it does man I will be a happy chappy !!

You´re right, it will be fun, I believe you, you will do it! I must think of some ideas, that may make isea´s life longer at brokers.

Futron, one think came on my mind right now.

One of the main isea´s issues is high spread. What about some option in code, that would move the internal limit order.

I´ll explain. Let´s say, we have one pip spread. Limit order becomes market order, we want to buy at 1.1000, 1 pip spread - zero profit at 1.001. If the spread was suddenly increased to 2 pips - limit order becomes market order at 0.9999. if the price doesn´t go there, trade is missed. This would be good with steady spread.

It may seems stupid, only mi idea, maybe you added it there before.

Just sharing ideas. ;)

Hi

I just came across this thread. 125 pages and then silence. I wonder this means the EA is not working anymore???

Hi,

if you find reliable broker, at which it can make at least hundred % a month, you definitely should get some award ;)

Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

I don't understand, what this all fuss is about.

It is not EA, it is piece of crap.

Why do chinese comrads charging 2,5 grans for 21 kilobatys

of mq4 code with just 2 lines of trading logic involved?

123 pages of discussion - what for?

For curiosity, I've found this EA on the net

and have tested it for a couple of days.

Targets of 2 pips with stop-loss of 20 pips - no way.

Sucees rate is not even 40%, so it weeps the account

in a matter of days.

Moreover, the general order entry strategy is not correct at all:

I think - instead of "Buy Limit" order developer must put "Sell Stop"

and instead of "Sell Limit" - "Buy Stop".

I will try to modify accordingly, but most probably

this junk won't work either way too.

Maybe, good idea will be enter in opposite direction, - on the contrarory

of EA directions: if it indicates "Buy" - go "Sell".

I cannot find any value in it.

After 2 days run in my demo account account size has reduced

from $50,000 to $46,000 and it is still going.

About the broker - I'm using PFG MT4 demo,

with average spreads for EURCHF - 1.5 pips

and EURGBP - 2 pips.

I haven't tried any other pairs, but I think, it won't make any difference.

Should spread be 1 pip or less - I don't think, it will improve the situation.

So don't bother with this crap.

If you're still interested, here you are - you can get all indi, templates

and manuals from here:

Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

i went through at least 60 of the 125 or so pages of this thread.a lot of discussion for a suitable non smoothed broker price feed.

what i have seen at tradeviewforex.com mt4 is surely looks like unsmoothed data feed.but for micro accounts they have 4 pip spread each for eurgbp and eurchf.infact i happen to be an introductory broker at tradeviewforex.com.i will make inquiries coming monday 15th asking them what spreads they offer for standard account.

i also vouch that they are good with money,several of my clients have withdrawn original and profits countless times.

i have witnessed what is called "fluttering" of price feed on mt4 price feed in one of the posts in this thread,at tradeview mt4.this fluttering is what i suppose everyone is looking for.

for spreads i will duly update in this thread on monday.
