For trading, I mainly use mechanical trading systems. The reason I shared the above material is not because I use those techniques, but because I like to share and exchange material and ideas that can be useful for enriching one's knowledge and possibly improving trading skills. Some brokers only give credit so they can limit risk. They want people to use the money inside the platform. It’s like bonus money. You can trade with it, but can’t withdraw directly.

Here is my take on the Astro/Gann stuff. May be they were working before the invent of the HFT/Algo trading periods. Human minds worked the same way but at different levels, so there was a chance things followed some rules. But with HFT and others, they exploited the inefficiencies of the market structure and suddenly we cant find their old edge. Best example: the Jane Street operations on the Indian options market and gaining INR 36,000 crore per year. You see they manipulated the market so much so that none of the Indian guys good sense what's going on. By the time they were noticed it was 3 years late and these guys made good money. I may be wrong also but I think the Astro/Gann stuff isn't working anymore.

you can use any MT4 provider just browse to the data folder in the folder that the MT4 uses to store the historical data. select the folder and the symbols will populate. also, remember to enable DDE in MT4 for realtime data.

Here is a guide for Emule. Is in Italian, but you can selected "Opzioni" (Options) and watch the pictures for settings. The last version is 0.70b. https://www.emule.it/guida_emule/home.asp If all settings are ok, is possible that your provider don't allows the connection with Emule. Here in Italy there are some providers that don't allows the connection with Emule or utorrent.

Thanks. Many books have graphics as well which I assume do not translate over? Also, I am not able to connect on EMule for either KAD or eD2K networks. Is there something I'm missing? I have tested my UDP and TDP ports and they are working.

Sure, you can do it that way, but it's a lot of work. Unfortunately, the books are old, and there's no PDF version. Even if you have them, they're still a waste of time; you'll never make a profitable profit in trading. A while back (when I was young), I had some study material from a guy who followed Torreggiani and Migliorino, along with some settings for the WebSella platform, but I threw it all away. I don't know if you're just passionate about it or if you're studying something to make a profit on the stock market. Follow the TF 3-minute Supertrend on the MiniDax instead, but be careful, it's not as simple as it sounds.
