NinjaTrader 8+ that can backtest

Hello, looking to see if anyone wants to share a NT 8+ unlocked so I can walk on optimization for my strategies. I'm trying to optimize a strategy I made but an AI told me that NT 8 only allows people with lifetime licenses to do walk on optimizations on custom scripts. It shows the values under parameters for my script but it doesn't show min max increment or allow me to modify it. Thanks.

Thanks, what do i pick for connection type, there are so many. how do i set up connection , I am subscribed to live data.

who is your data provider ? thats where you connect, if you are a member of Ninja Trader you could use Kinetic , at the end of the day.

so, the shared file in this post with extension MSI is just to be run, and nothing more is required to be done to make it work? SO it is preactivated? I just want to make use of End of day Metastock data format for my study purposes.

Ive tried to log into Ninjatrader, Rithmic, etc with my current ninjatrader username password and i also have subscribed data and its just says wrong log in etc

I think they change way now, they are asking for $5 monthly user.

You have said you are "subscribed to data" and you have called it "live data" but it's unclear which brand or who you bought it from? From Ninjatrader directly? If so, did they not specify how to connect it, meaning, which option to use among all the "Connection adapters" ? Is it live Tradovate data? Ninjatrader will give a live data 2 week demo, but after that, unless you have a brokerage account with them, they will not sell you a data subscription package. Are you paying for a datafeed? But, if you have one of the brands listed under connections of the 8.0.28 version provided in this thread, they will work. Some of that detail from Ninjatrader is found here:

I have a ninjatrader account i use to trade live with and i bought a subscription directly from them, at their website. When i install NT i just log in and it automatically connects me I dont have to configure anything. Im using 8.1.4 btw
