Motivewave no longer work with its Google/Yahoo connection. Because Google changed its API & also trying to prevent 3rd party application to pull data from their server. A huge setback for Indian trader where Google/Yahoo was our only hope.. :((

Now its high time that Motivewave should implement DDE or COM connection or any external source of data feeding from terminal to Motivewave application. if anyone have made any java client to feed data locally, please share.

I'm talking about the people who live in India where there is less number of data provider, only one is present & the price is also high. At that point, only solution is our terminal data which we redirect to application like NinjaTrader, MultiChart, Amibroker. Because all these platform have either DDE or COM or both. So this legacy technology is still helping us.

5. Google Data Service (Experimental) – Live quotes and search for Google have been updated to pull from an unsupported (and undocumented) API. This feature may not be supported in the future if Google makes changes or removes this API.

 

Someone should try with a new trial, and someone should port the fix to the new version... [-O<

I'm using the latest v5.4.5 trial. Google feed is not working on the latest version as aswell.
