Gaban
Some differences between DEMO and LIVE account would make you lose when you go to LIVE after thinking you get enough with DEMO. The execution time, spreads are different a lot. Anyway, demo account is the best way for new trader learn how to trade. You're right. In demo trading, we will get trading experience, and we can use it to learn before trading with real account. I also use demo account first, then i use real account with posting bonus as my balance to trade. Quote www.instaforex.com
diablo88
Actually, I think we can get familiar with MT4 program (trading platform) with demo account. And real trading experience with Live Account.
Gaban
Basically trading with demo accounts and real accounts are the same. We use the platform to trade, and we also need to do the analysis. It's just that if we are trading with a demo account, we can not draw profit and we also have a psychological effect. So do not be surprised if trading using a demo account it is easier to make a profit rather than trading in a real account. usok
Hi Guys, Does anyone have comments or suggestion which one could attract most for new traders? Would it be a Demo Account or Live Account? new traders rule of thumb, stick with DEMO DEMO DEMO and trade it like reall money, for atleast 2 months or more, go with brokers like hotforex or any MT4 broker coz demo is free. practice is the key

And even though we have used real account, we should also continue to use the demo account to learn, test strategy, or even use to participate in the contest demo. dudeE
I moved to live a couple days back. I do have 2 demo accounts just to try out new methods that I'm not really sure about or are too risky to do on live. You don't make money on demo accounts, so if you are profitable and have consistent profits, why stay on a demo account?

And if we are ready, why not try? But I think, should we use bonus as capital to feel real trading atmosphere. Quote www.instaforex.com

Gaban
if you want to study fast i recommend start with live account Is not it too risky for a newbie if they if they directly trade using real account. They don't have any trading experience. Did you start trade start trading directly by using real account ? Quote www.instaforex.com
Gaban
Sometimes because of a source of capital that makes traders underestimate a demo account. Equity capital for demo trading is virtual, but if trading with a demo account without rules, it could be it will carry over when we do the real trading. Better still use a demo account as it should, because without a demo account, we can not learn without risk. Quote www.instaforex.com
Gaban
Demo account is not an account that must be used by beginner traders who want to start trading, I just suggested, we should use this account to learn because in addition to without having to deposit, we will not accept the real risk. It's more safe to learn. Quote www.instaforex.com

Stop posting on this forum since you are totally clueless gaban. I do not say they do not need to practice with a demo account, just make it clear that a demo account is not mandatory and no one obliges a newbie to use a demo account, if you really want to use a demo account to practice, please. But if you do not want to use is also not a problem. It's just the risk borne by themselves. All options in the hands of traders themselves. We as traders have experienced it is more suggest to use a demo account. Suggestions can be accepted or ignored. Maybe you are too smart to understand what I mean, a trader who still have a lot to learn, so there is a different perception. Guest FloridaTrader
Look at post #37...you state do not demo trade. A lot of your postings make no sense and you need to cease repeating yourself over and over again. No such thing as too smart to understand your postings. Your postings have too many inaccuracies and you give bad advice. You like to post advice but have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Give it a break until you gain some forex experience. Guest FloridaTrader
Yeah, it's not must be used but it's very recommended for beginner. Don't tell people that demo account trading is not a must. How can someone successfully navigate a live account platform if they have no training on how to use it. Let's hold off on giving bad advice. One thing you don't want to do is to sound like gaban. I suggest that the two of you get some forex training and hold off on posting inaccurate statements. Consider asking questions which can help you rather than making postings that make the two of you lose credibility. My goal (and other traders) is to help out traders and to give the best answers to their questions. By your (and gaban's) postings, you are sharing bad information and this isn't in the best interest of this forum. apple1937
To success in Forex Trading, we really need to start trading with demo account. By doing that, we will have better understanding on how the price moves, testing and fine tuning on our trading system/ strategy until we are completely satisfied with the outcome. Without practicing on demo account, will just like throwing your hard earn money into the ocean, sooner you will broke! :) Remember: It takes years to success in Forex Trading, but it takes minutes to wipe out your account! :) Edited April 17, 2013 by apple1937

When you learn to trade, you will realize that your results from demo trading will not accurately reflect how well you trade a live account. Trading a live account is more stressful than trading a demo account. Good luck
Gaban
Our psychology begin influence our trading when we're trading with real account, because we use real money and most of traders feel afraid of losing their money. Guest FloridaTrader
Our psychology begin influence our trading when we're trading with real account, because we use real money and most of traders feel afraid of losing their money. It's the causes why our demo result is better than real. Incorrect gaban...stress occurs during demo and live trading which effects a trader's emotional intelligence, decreases the trader's ability to maintain concentration and attention, and even dampers the traders awareness of the market environment. Trading live accounts does bring out more stress than demo account which refutes your comment where it begins effecting only during live trading. Demo trading differs from live trading for several reasons. Prices feeds can be different, features may be different, execution time may be different, requotes are not an issue and always accepted, no slippage, no waiting messages, no hesitations during news releases, and the list goes on and on. Please do us a favor and help out this forum. You should cease giving out bad advice. We have asked you to stop and you continue to do so. Your last advice telling forum members NOT to demo trade was really a bad suggestion. I've noticed that you are using the word psychology many times on this forum and in the wrong context too.
