vijidas Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 The smaller the account size; the higher the risk of blowing an account. Smaller accounts are great for learning though. Quote

lll Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 I certainly can, even with two nachanal and dispersed to 15 Quote
Trader99 Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 You can start with $25 if you are able to find a broker who has a low minimum deposit. If you Gooogle "forex broker minimum deposit" , you should find a few links to info which may be helpful....(I just did, so I know it can be found :-)) T99 Quote

Hi Vijidas I have to disagree with your statement "the smaller the account size, the higher the risk of blowing an account"....give a trader with a proven strategy and money management approach an account of $1M or $10K and I would say the risk of blowing the account are the same. After all, it is not the "account size" that determines whether an account gets blown up, but rather, how the trader manages his/her risk while trading. Just my 2 cents :-) T99 Quote
Princess Keisha Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Of course, we can start trade with $25... And we also can get profit from it if we use it as well as possible.. Quote

Even with $1 we can start trade, sis. But if we just use $1 to trade, it's not safe. I think we will get margin call quickly. Quote

Atlas CapitalFx Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 Of course, we can start trade with $25 and we must be wise in choosing leverage.. Quote
Vikram Posted December 19, 2012 Report Posted December 19, 2012 Even you can start with $5 (Micro Account). Quote

daniuwei Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Personally I think 25 bucks are just too little to pick up Forex trading. When I first started trading, I deposited $250 with FXPRIMUS. But I think now they offer $100. Quote
Gaban Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Of course, we can start trading with $25. Keep discipline when trading, wise when choosing leverage, it can help us to survive in forex with this balance, so we don't need to make deposit again. May be, if you wanna trade with balance is bigger than it, you can use forum which give bonus for posting, like indo.mt5 from InstaForex or the other. Quote www.instaforex.com
JamieFX Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 it really depends on your broker and simply it is really hard to make money and growing your money if you start with that little money for me $100 is the minimum Quote
loll Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 You can, but you have to adapt it to your style and money management. Quote
Wrongforex Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I understand her, that she doesn't want to risk a lot of money for the first, time, she just have to pick a broker with micro lots, that's all. Quote
firmanta Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 You can trading with 25$, just choose micro lot on your broker. I recommend you to practice first with a demo trading account before you trade your 25$. So you will be more ready for trade it. Quote
supertrader Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Yep, keep practice with demo account, until you are able to minimize the lost. Quote
Guest ankurkanoria Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 If you know anything about money management, you will know that minimizing risk of ruin requires a small percentage (say 2%) of capital be risked with each trade. How can you trade risking 25 cents? Even for learning purposes, you'd be stopped out before you start learning! Quote

Yeah, we have to practice in demo trading first before we trade in real account, so when trading with $25 we can get maximum profit and we don't need to make deposit again because we get big loss and margin call. posed Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 going to be hard to start with 20 dollars but i suppose anything is possible... really though id work on saving up to start a larger balance and trade low leverage, got to survive to see tomorrow, very important Quote
usok Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 guys if the question is can you trade with 25$? yes you can but the chances of succeeding is really small, its a good amount to try out live trading for any broker, but I suggest for starters go with 150-200 ang keep the lots really small, yeah you will earn cents with good trading but thats a practice you have to go through, to earn really decent of course bigger investments is needed :) Quote
propolis Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) Hi, I have practiced with a 20-dollar (15euro) account. the first one I blew up. my second 20-dollar account is still alive after 116 (3-month) trades and $6.16 dealing charges. the first part of the exercise was to start to learn to loose small every time (1 micro contract --- average loss 0.70 dollar). for me the hole exercise has been worthwhile especially the loosing part, will carry on till the end of the month then move to a proper funded account. best wishes http://i46.tinypic.com/25evddu.png Edited February 19, 2013 by propolis Quote
