Guest nicebuns
In case you are not aware, Jim Sloman has removed availability of his Ocean Indicators from his site. They are no longer available. He states that they are no longer accurate and that he's working on something else. I still use the mt4 indicators and find they are just as accurate as before. Thanks udc for making them available. Any thoughts or progress on making btx and triple sdx available so that they work on Windows 7/8 (ie 64 bit)? Thanks. tke1
Hi @nicebuns.... Would it be possible for you to briefly say which indicators, out of the set, help you in your trading style and how you use them ?
Guest nicebuns
There are lots of indicators in the set. But they build on each other so there are less options than you might think. NDXNSANXCx is basically the Rainbow4 indicator that Sloman talks about. NMC2 is also a combination of ocean indicators. The good thing is that the YouTube training videos are still available and the Ocean manual linked in the first message of this thread is still available. You can figure what works for you from those. I combine Ocean with the Market Matrix method and I have a very high confidence of what any market will be doing short and long term. I have developed a No Inversion Market Matrix but the usual method is totally fine. Edited September 30, 2014 by nicebuns

Sesshoumaru
More of those mirrors still work, not only one. But the truth is some are really dead, unfortunately the multi-uploaders I am using don't check the hosters for subsequently broken links. I wonder who is behind those deletions. Here is a new bunch of mirrors then, it should last for a little while. ocean_theory.rar (ocean indis by mladen from TSD elite) http://www.directmirror.com/files/ROH0Q0HT http://mir.cr/0PMDJDCO http://www.multiupload.nl/SDH97068W1 ocn_mt4_9-28-2012.7z (ocean indis by me) http://www.directmirror.com/files/RAQPU9UU http://mir.cr/1OZX59WL http://www.multiupload.nl/0VD8XD7PWI could someone please re-up these two indis packages? Thanks in advance!

cozy
I have used the Ocean indicators for several years now. The combination of NDX NST NXC is fantastic in giving quick entries and exits. Since the indicator is for MT4 I have been looking for the same info for other platforms since I trade with TOS. The original Ocean indicators are no longer sold and were only for Trade Station. I have finally just come across a very similar set up for this using other indicators. I combine StochasticFull and Stochastic Momentum Index together as one indicator and it gives very similar signals. Stochastic Full: k: 5 d: 20 price h: high price l: low price c: (h+l)/2 period: 3 average type: simple FullK: don't show plot overbought: don't show plot oversold: don't show plot Stochastic Momentum Index (defaults): d: 3 k: 5 Sesshoumaru

OsmanIM
Has Jim Sloman ever coded his Ocean Theory indicators for Ninjatrader? His STX indicators (Triple STX) are really very good to pick accurate turns in a trend.
