Those results look very nice for an auto-scalper, though this is demo (i.e. no slippage) I assume ?

 

All the same I'd be interested in knowing what logic the scalper uses, or even better you could always share it so that we can all run some tests...2 weeks isn't a long time in Forex ;)

its hard to know how good EAs are in the current dramatic market. can you provide a backtest from 2008-now?

The EA of boussena is simply the XBars MA Scalper, he have simply modified the EA to include 2 more conditions : Step=5; MaxStepOrders=8; (we can see that on the BT of boussena) for take much orders.

I have find and decompiled the original version of XBars MA Scalper, it need to be modified like the BT of boussena by including the 2 conditions, if someone have an idea to do that !

what do the step and max step trade areas do exactly? i can code it myself if i know what they do. i dont think thats all he did though cause he has a lot of trades, and there is already a distance after last open trade coded into it, and that doesnt make it trade that much more either. euroblaster is supposedly banned from this forum. the one from the sights backtest is v7.11 anyways, it has a better stoploss feture. v7 is just mediocer anyways heres my live account, been going for 2 months about started with 250, only shows 1 month however. forex.com...

there are a number of modifications on funyoos site. this could be one of them. i would suggest spending the small change and joining up.

I was seeing the code of euroblaster 7 and comparing with the XBar, and I think is the same with some modifications. But the 2010 backtest using XBar is better. You can conclude by yourself

i had my suspicions that that was the case... i want to run them side by side however and see if they trade at the exact same places. if not they would still be nice to have both even if they are kinda similar

I have read on a russian developer forum that EuroBlaster v 7.11 is identical to XBars MA Scalper 1.04. So don't waste your time looking for EB 7.11 since it adds no value. Unless you just want to test it for curiosity.. Same goes for FXZapper, Zone99 which are also clones of XBars.
