Thank you for prompt response! Sorry to bother you again, however, only the first link works, but not the next three links. Quite possibly, it is something to do with my Windows settings?

I agree that I am only able to get the first link and not the others. I do not see any link that says direct download or anything similar on the second through fourth download links. The first one is the only one that shows that and I was able to get that one. The last three show the file name but no way to get it. Edited August 4, 2010 by splumbtree

Thanks to Theozaki in this post which forced me to think of Megadroid pro. I have VPS connection and yesterday I established Megadroid pro (as per Theozaki) in FXCBS demo account. Question for Theozaki or others who are trading

 

1. What is logic behind having different logics for each currency pair. Has any back tested and got convinced that these logic are perfect or worked well in past. I am questioning but just asking the backgroud.

Anybody knows how to remove the authentication. Megadroid has lauched latest version i.e. 1.3.

You can download the dll and .ex4 file from megadroid website

Can somebody remove the authentication and make this no DLLL version. I donot know how to remove authentication though I know how to decompile it.

Download the dll and ex4 orignal from there server and install it on MT4. You will get the version as 1.3. I know website still says v1.21

I checked the results from megadroid web page and i see trades can occur on daylight. But the version i use i see that trades occur just in assian session ..i am right or missing something ?

The results on website of forex megadroid is not day light. Its GMT 20 to GMT 23. They use ATC broker and their GMT is offset -4

Hi Guys,

 

Just wanted to add my comment regarding Trading accuracy and consistency of Megadroid Pro. I have been trading live with this EA since Mid October and i have included my Live trading stats with Go Markets since November 1. With conservative settings i still consider this EA to be the best scalping EA created from this Forum. I use Megadroid Pro version 1.01ee with dll(born from this forum). I still follow my own manual news filter trading method although you can also use Rio's Megradroid Pro version with the News Filter included within the EA.

 

I don't like using Fapturbo or Shocker because they both have a poor Risk, Reward ratio of around 8:1 whereas Megadroid Pro is around 4:1. (Excellent for a scalper robot which can average a winning consistency of around 80%)

 

Megradroid pro is also more discerning and fussy about the trades it opens based on support and resistance levels whereas other scalping EA's are not.

It is not so excellent, as with 4:1 R:R ratio and 80% winning rate you will only break even on the long term.

If there is a better and more consistently profitable scalping EA out there i would like to see it !

I have been using Megadroid (not the Pro) for 1.5 years with good results (about +150% with aggressive=off, 0.3-0.4 risk, the broker is FxOpen). I am not sure about the Pro version though. I think you have been using it for months, what were your results?

Could you post some set files to use as a starting point so I can start my own optimization?

I will try to do that over the weekend for you time permitting ofcourse. I'm really very busy at this stage. If you read many of my earlier posts on the Megadroid Pro thread you will see clearly what my EA settings are in general and my manual trading method using the news filter. I have only started using the N1 version of megadroid Pro over the past 2 weeks as per posted live results. I'm using plus/minus 480 minutes for high impact news and plus/minus 360 minutes for medium impact news. I will monitor my live results over the next 2 weeks and keep you updated.

 

Domino you have done well with live trading indeed. I have been using the Pro version on and off over the past nine months with reasonably good success. Account gain over the 9 month period was around 75% but my trading was somewhat experimental with lot sizes and currency pairs traded.
