Oops, I spoke too soon as this won't compile. It needs to be decompiled with version 225.1, not 224.1.

Hes, I purchased the package. Here is a simple test for any decompile. Simply try to compile the decompiled code. You will get errors. In this case it is structural errors with a Switch statement - look at the code.

 

The latest release of the decompiler is 4.0.225.1. I too have the older version 4.0.224.1 and it will not decompile EAs made with the newer versions.

The adviser to the dll? If you have your account number and activation code, which usually give in buying, you can try to make a living forever Advisor

i bought version 225 decompiler now, post here if you need EA's decompiled with it.

Ok. I got the inside scoop from Birt. All of the Purebeam decompilers up to and including 4.0.225.1b do not properly decompile nested switch statements. Birt was able to reconstruct the EA logic and get me going again.

 

So, if your decompile won't recompile and stalls at a case: statement, you now know why.
