Hi guys,

 

I have download this EA above. But when I do backtest with the MM=true, the lotsize still remains at 0.10 lotsize.

 

I am using fxpro broker. Can someone help?

hi i using this for euro usd 15 min in alpari broker if u use another broker just shift the time here is the set and my backtest for 4 weeks befor 1000$ to $ 1900-2100$

I will change my setting of Echf to maxtrades = 1, per bar = 1. I will increased my risk of EU to 30%. Seems very good. No loses for EU for 2 days straight this week.

Good results also. I will change my risk for EU to 30% in jade also.

 

I need advice for Uchf & Ucad. Can I know what is the best settings? I unable to backtest cos there is no trades. Think my history records for this 2 pairs only started yesterday.

I used to do that to download history from the history center. But very soon, the data somehow got corrupted. So in the end, i give up download from history center. I only use forward testing.

 

Are you using demo account or live account? Your Echf is super high risk setting I feel. Recently Echf is only a losing side. So that's y I am going to reduce the risk. Even EG is better than EChf now.

:shand: chankl78 ultimate 2 settings = default trade hours = 16-22 because with range filter = true u may not trade until 19 hrs. usdcad had 0.2 trade loss before 18hrs. but that could have happened in normal trading 18-22 but u also pick up some nice trades between 16-18 MT4 platform gotrader ECN seam to trade a lot more than at present with axisodl --enjoy =D> I only trade eu gu uchf ucad the 3-4 other trades are caspian ec eg

First backtest with different levels of risk

Do not try to risk more than 20%, can lead to killing deposits

 

I've tried to risk 50% at live acc and caused a huge loss (dp_v2)

You are probably correct in spotting a coding mistake in the original and subsequent versions. There is no reason (that I can see) for allocating different magics for buy and sell of the same strategy, at least for DragonPips.

I am using Ultimate 2.

 

I am running, AN, EU, EG, EChf. So far dragonpips ultimate 2 is the best version as so many custom strategy.

Indeed profit with little loss.

 

Regards on the set files, u can find it in the last 2 to 3 pages. Have posted there with my backtest finding.

I checked Dragonpips v2, v3, and Quiksilver's latest version, the code above are all the same. It just does not make sense to me. Anybody can take a look at the very original copy of Dragonpips? Any other comments?

 

You are right. I took a look at the trades it was doing live using Trade Analyser with a different magic number for each strategy and some strategy 3 and 4 are took as the wrong ones. Which means that the magic number is not associated with the right strategy for those trades.

 

So i took the liberty to edit the code and update the .txt of "Bugs fixed & improvements".

So this error is now fixed.

is this error also present in the normal "Ultimate" version? (I am not refer about "Ultimate2")

I cant find different strategies in that versione so the error may not be there.

 

Can please someone confirm? I am currently running live and dont like to have problems with the version I use.
