Normally, as an example without the bug, if you set your magic number to "1", the EA will affect magic number for each strategy as follow: Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 1: Magic number 1 Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 2: Magic number 2 Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 3: Magic number 3 Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 4: Magic number 4 Basically it is simply your magic number + 1 for each strategy But with the bug, it was like this: Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 1: Magic number 1 Trades (BUY or SELL) with strategy 2: Magic number 2 Trades (BUY) with strategy 3: Magic number 3 Trades (SELL) with strategy 3: Magic number 2 Trades (BUY) with strategy 4: Magic number 4 Trades (SELL) with strategy 4: Magic number 2 So as you can see, only SELL trades made by strategy 3 and 4 were assigned a bad magic number. They were assigned the same number as strategy 2. But they were executed by strategy 3 and 4 anyway. Only the magic number was wrong. So in brief: No trades or strategy themselves were affected. Only people or program who use the difference in magic number for each strategy to evaluate and compare the results of each strategy separately would get bad data because all the sell of 3 and 4 would be accounted as strategy 2. (I am not refer about "Ultimate2") I cant find different strategies in that versione so the error may not be there. Can please someone confirm? Because i didn't touch any logic at all. All i know is that from now, the EA truly assign a different Magic number for each strategy. The question is: Is those true magic number makes a difference in the results of backtest in MT4? I didn't test it and i don't know if MT4 is basing the results on magic number in any way but if yes, it means that now is the true results and that the ones before where erroneous because, like i said, i didn't touched any logic at all and all i did is make sure that the results based on magic numbers display properly. I love to use this word "GREED" on myself when I had bad losing days....... & I still failed to control it so many times after losing. Due to people's good statement... So I follow even though I have bad feeling. But so far in my jade, until now, my EU in jade live is still in 100% winning rates even though I have up my risk to 30%. Strange thing is that my Echf has no trades. I think my Uchf setting will follow my EChf settings. Right now, UChf is using EU setting to trade. Today, I will backtest the version ultimate 2.01. Need to find the best settings for this pairs. EU, GU, AN, Echf, Uchf, EG I think I trades to many pairs. Hahahaha.. GREED. Forexcom UK live just closed Uchf in a lose again. I also realised my EU did not opened trades after 21hrs. I wonder y. I look at my journal, there is not strange events. Everything is in perfect conditions.
