execution Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 Re: Forex Day Monster Ya it looks good when all the indicators line up!! but the oscillators at the bottom dont line up bcoz thoses oscillators are of higher timeframe for eg: h4 so if u get 5m signal within 4hours then all green will be confirmed only at the close of h4 bar. i mean that the indicator recalculates for higher timeframe so if you think its green then it may have been red in real time. However, last night when I forward tested it, the oscillators repainted heavily and we would miss many opportunities thats what i told before the indicators dont repaint they recalculate as said by author. if you want to see the real backtesting then put a macd with 13 , 34 , 1 this is the slowtrend indicator in the FPM(forex profit monster). if the macd is above 0 then enter long with all the conditions vice versa for short Quote There is no delight in owning anything unshared Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This October was my first live month. Until today morning I was up with 10%, now I am down with 10% because all of my positions suddenly turned against me :( Still trust the system though. In September my demo account increased with 30%, and if I am less greedy and more experienced, October would have been a winner too. Lesson learned.
