MP-why is the 4shared file in .exe.....these files do not come in that form....only .zip Pls. explain? I will not download an unknown .exe from a new poster-FWIW, and no else should until he lets us know why.

Welcome cuchuflito, we try not to email indis that are on the forum. Ask for some to re upload the indis in question....someone will, when you ask. Others maybe looking for it also...so lets all share...and test together-Nate

Let me add a second to Nate's suggestion for adding "Thanks"

Too many do not take the additional 2 seconds to hit the Thanks button. cuchuflito...you will have to use the "star" button to "add reputation" until you reach 15 posts. Then the "Thanks" button will appear for you.

broekieman...as omaron stated, if you give a link to the trial indicator that you upload to a cloud site, then one of our generous educators can look at it and work their code crafting...but if you don't post it they cannot know what to work on...

Does anyone know where we can upload over 1Gig for file storage like mediafire. for some reason mediafire has blocked my files from being downloading? Sharespace is only 300M....suggestions taken so I can reload about 2 gigs of videos.-nate

100M limit per upload but I do not see a terminal limit for maximum storage. You have to maintain the links for your own use (or email them to yourself) as storage is not done by individual account. This may not work for you but could be an interim option.

I would forget about that strategy (woodies bars). I tested it before getting any trial expiration messages (and deleted before that too). In backtesting it looks good sometime (depend on timeframe and settings), but in real market sucks, even in sim. I ran it for couple days, i got some $1000 loss. But when i reloaded the script, there was no loss recorded. Sim backtesting performance was showing a win for all the days it was losing. Some of the losing trades did not existed and the winning trades were bigger.

 

So i wouldn't really bother with it. The settings are not even important in this case. What is important is that backtesting P/L is very different then real time P/L. I wouldn't put real money on this...

omaron...while I did not bother to play with these indicators I want to express thanks for the specifics on your testing!

And, by the way, thanks to the original poster and code educator, as well!
