Sounds fair enough to me. Attached is my live account trading Dragonpips from last week.

I have only traded this last week after lots of random demo testing which I dont have the statements for anymore to post however I will post each week my live statement for everyone to see.

Please note the EURUSD trades is megadroid

I am using Dragonpips 5 digit June v2 version

Gomarkets broker (GMT +2)

Max trades = 2

Risk 50% for EURCHF and 40% for EURGBP.

Start hour 22 stop hour 24

Everything else default.

I should actually correct myself here, we need to do the opposite to what the Damiani indicator tells us to do

If you download and attach the damiani volatmeter onto the 15m EURUSD chart and look back you will find that more times than not every time the noise line (grey or red) is above the signal line (green) thats when you want MD to trade as the activity is quite flat with no major trends occuring seeing MD is a counter trend system that only wants a few pips per trade

When there is a mjot trend occuring, the signal line (green) i above the noise line and the indicator tells us to trade, this is when we need to disable MD before it hits thoses massive stop losses of 150 pips!!

I think we may be onto something big here is someone can code this Damiani Volatmeter 3.2 into megadroid so it only allows MD to trade when the Volatmeter tells us its safe to.

I am not a coder but I can give anyone this indicator if required even though its not hard to find. Running on the 15m timeframe this indicator really picks the range trading optimal times really well, the exact conditions MD loves.

If we can code this into the version hacker posted MD V1.10B so we can essentially set MD to trade 24 hours only when volatmeter allows it

Sorry to hear that hacker, I loaded your settings and robot version exactly like you with GoMarkets around 24 hours ago and it didnt trade at all today

Maybe the spread caused it to stop trading?

In backtesting it looks very profitable, but after what you saw, I'm a little concerned too? were these losses within the recommended 21.00-23.00 GMT times?

i'm thinkging if they were, then it wouldnt have mattered if you used a modded version or original it still would have lost

Does anyone know how to the change the GMT ranges in Megadroid?

I know I can change the GMT offset within Megadroid to trick it into trading between UTC 21.00-23.00 but is there a way I can change this so I could set it to trade 20.00-02.00 or 04.00-16.00 etc

I am testing different risksettings against different GMT windows, more so out of curiosity, so far GMT6 offset is quite profitable but needs more testing

Can anyone help me with this?

I have made the changes to allow the spread to be adjusted in the settings, however in the backtesting journal I am getting this error

Is this something I have done wrong or is it with the MQ4 file?

Hi,

would someone please be so kind to share Megadroid either the MQ4 or EX4 with the addition of aloowing the user to manually change the max spread for s1 and s2 in the main settings?
