The host file is somewhat like a firewall in that it can block outgoing requests from programs that you are running. Has this been tested for using AmiQuote? If we put this into the host file, can we use AmiQuote to download stock quotes and not get a license error? Bill have not used amiquote ,but amibroker version 5.3 works just fine with real time data from local provider although I cannot access any amibroker sites now. regards derik .
