FX_SuperTrader
Thanks luixpg for this great post! However, when I ran the MC.NET 8 program and try to add indicators & signals, why nothing shows up? Do I have to program every indicator & signal myself? Anyone has same problem? I had this problem. The solution is this: *Open the PowerLenguage Editor; next select Export, and export all Indicators and Strategies to any folder in your PC. *Next again, Import this file into PowerLenguage, check all and compile. *Close PowerLenguage and Multicharts *Open again Multicharts, and select any Indicators, etc *Now I haven´t a problem

In MC8.NET, there are just nothing in indicators & signals, even if I open PowerLanguage editor then choose Export. There were nothing showing up. http://i47.tinypic.com/2lwkg2a.png
titto
OK. On another x86 machine the Indicators & Signals did show up. But no functions show up in PowerLanguage .NET editor, is this normal?
FX_SuperTrader
I tried install MCH8.net in Win XP 32 bits, and Indicators and Strategies work, and appear in PowerLenguage, but the folder of Functions directly not open (I don´t know why) but is possible write a new functions. In your case I tried uninstall a program and re install, but when install again check box "Compile Indic. and Strategies". I believe that you no compile when installing it. FX_SuperTrader
Hi titto; Try import Indicators and Strategies. I export from my MCH8.net; here the link: hxxp://depositfiles.c0m/files/iv78dtrfr
titto
Thanks FX_SuperTrader: I did manage to install Indicators & Strategies earlier today. The problem seems that MC8.NET requires full administrator priviledge when installing in XP32 or XP64. But when I was installing, I did not notice that even though I used administrator account, the install default is "Run this program with restricted access". After unchecking the option, it installed OK and the Indicators and Strategies did show up in the folder. The only odd thing is that there is no built-in Functions like MC6. The whole Functions folder is blank.
FX_SuperTrader
Hi titto: In this thread, in previous post (#24 page 3). I upload a program for convert MQ4 files in C#/Java/.lua. Is very interesant for work with MT4 indicators into MCH8.net, but the problem is that this .cs files (C#) not compile in MCH8.net. I don´t know why. Which is a difference between C# code of MCH8.net, and C# converted for this Converter software?? Because many indicators not compile, but without "Error". Thanks in advance Edited September 27, 2012 by FX_SuperTrader

titto
To FX_SuperTrader: I'm sorry. I don't have any experience in programming in any .NET languages. I wish I can learn C# & MC.NET's PowerLanguage in one shot, but I'm afraid that it will be a long, long shot. Really don't know how long it will take me. Thanks luixpg for this excellent post! One question, though. Is it possible to run MC8 & MC8.NET emulator at tghe same time on same machine? I have tried to modify httpport value in app.config to values other than 80, but it didn't work. The emulators still listen on port 80.
