FPFTools2 - FPFTools - Eds Method ..... and they are basically obsolete now .... as jeff has updated the renko system which is on the website and includes scalpingx so everything is at the link below http://xxx.simple4xsystem.net/10513224/RenkoDownloads.htmalso the link to FF which is mr nims system http://xxx.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=237979 Edited February 18, 2012 by dk1aussie Diabolik1713006521, dirtydan, ⭐ fscrp and 3 others

alright
@ dk1aussie You seem to know a lot about these systems. I do know about renko and how deceiving they could be. Do you think it is worth spending some time on Jeff's videos or does he need to be treated as a total shovel seller and discarded for good? Thanks. newbie111
I can't wait until Sunday night. Just looking back in history on the charts this is a winner. I don't mind taking small profits at a time. Just as long as I'm winning. I also like the exit strategy of this system.

newbie111
Hi newbie, can you give us a screen shot of some trades. thanks I haven't trade with this system yet. Just scrolled back in history on the charts, and was happy with the win/loss ratio of what I saw according to the rules Edited February 19, 2012 by newbie111
eggzactly
Hi All, Renko charts are good to trade but for itself renko bars can be called "indicator" so need to be carefull with the indicators to use in combination.I read the rules for this system and when i saw AO and MACD the ring alert buzz instantly because i know how they behave with it.to investors that want to test this system and to help avoiding some bad trades ( small pullback in price that neither MACD or AO can determine in the renko charts) just put this inducator on charts and trade only in the direction of trend - if above buy / if below sell, if between the MA area watch. This is no more then EMA 50 from close/high/low but can help determine the trend. Also pay attention to price action, patterns of renko bars - one powerfull pattern is : we x have consecutive down bars, then we have two up, then one down and then one up, more then 80% of time it will give you at least 1 bar profit - opposite applies for sell. Hope this help. newbie111
Here is an indicator that was shared by our good friend Diesel 10. Thus far, this is the best indicator that I have seen for making consistent profits with renko charts. Diesel 10, will you please make a post on this thread so you can get the credit for your great share? I am only posting it to help anyone interested, I am not looking for thanks on this one. To anyone interested in this indi, please give Diesel 10 all the Thanks for his great contribution the next time you see him. Instructions. Buy: When the HAMA and Dual 50's are in uptrend, Buy after the RSI crosses the 25 line down and turns up. To be safe, you can wait until it crosses the 25 line up, but I don't wait. Exit when the RSI crosses the 75 line. Sell: When the HAMA and Dual 50's are in downtrend, Sell after the RSI crosses the 75 line up and turns down, (SELL). You can wait until it crosses the 75 line down if you choose, but I don't. Exit when the RSI crosses the 25 line. In both examples wait for the close of the Renko block to Buy, Sell, and Exit. Use your own stop loss rules. There is only 1 problem with this indicator, It makes my MT4 platform run slow. I think it uses a large amount of system resources. If you can overcome that problem. Then you have a very good pip puller. P.S. It's up to you if you want to use the Dual 50's on your chart or not. I find that it works well with just the HAMA and custom RSI alone. Yes, you will leave a lot of pips on the table at times, but it's better to be safe than to take chances on trying to capture every pip in a move. P.P.S. Turn off all alerts, leave all other settings at default and just follow the rules posted above. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m527/newbie1112/renkoexample.gif hxxp://[email protected]/rar/NFZeF_VM/MT4-StochasticRSI-Oscillator_w.html Edited February 24, 2012 by newbie111 scwon, cokhisaa and psaini1973

Hi newbie111 u can try this renko bar creator. it has an option to where you can assign the no. of bars u wish to use... Normally in EUR/USD you can put 5000 bars and it will create renko bars for approx 3.5 days ( I assume you are using 5 Pip Box in renko trading) which is enough for the system you are using and it will not put extra burden on the CPU... you can also reduce the no. of bars if you wish. It will also show u the high n low wicks of the renko bars which is also very usefull. This renko bar creator was developed for 5 digit broker.. so if u are using 5 pip box then put 5 in the "RenkoBarBox column". But b4 installing it make sure u have history of approx 15-20 days in ONE MINUTE CHART... I am sure you will love it...
