Does anyone have the latest version of the navigator trend software which shows the strength of 17 pairs. This only came out about 2 weeks ago. The last meter had 10prs and was really good but did use a lot of memory.

Hello all,

 

The 17th pair in the scanner is not a pair but the US dollar index. It is provided by some brokers. It measures the strength of the US dollar against a basket of the main currencies eur, gbp, jpy ... Babypips describes in details how the index is built.

can somebody tell me why i dont get Gravy Train, Channel Hop or Half Pike Alerts?

 

I only get Sling Shot Alerts!

 

In the settings all my alerts are on!

Those alerts need the Bias and Key levels and they are generated on the OU server. With the educated version of the software you can't connect to it. You are not missing anything. I know people who are members at OU for about a year now and they have not made money with this system yet. I bought Forex Mastery too and returned it in a month. Most of the signals generated by the scanner are counter trend and fail. Save some time and pick a new system to trade with. There are a lot of them on this site.

i'm using only 1 indicator from this system the mastery signal ..i think this is a good signal,combine this with some other indicators and you will have a good system

egaalh do you mean the Price Action Indicator? Or what do you mean with the Mastery Signal?

 

In my Opinion I think the Price Action Indicator is helpfull and we get Sling Shot Alerts so that we have not to sit in front of the computer the whole time!

Hey Frank-E! Just go through as many systems as you can a and pick one that "speaks" to you, one that you like visually. Systems have very little to do with successful trading. I know a lot of people would disagree with me on this point but that is the truth. Money management is number one! The rest is all in your head. Your belief systems, your confidence level and so on. I am sure you know all this. How little systems has to do with trading? Try this; open the Williams template in MT4 on an one hour chart, clean it up a little by removing the grid and the period separators, thicken up the lines to make them visually more pleasing and look at the signals it generates. If you would trade those signals in the direction of the trend would you be able to make money? What if you would apply a good money management system to it? Trading is easy. Beating the addiction is hard!!!
