this system looks very similar to Pallada 2009 SE though(been shared in this best forum)

just a typical trend-following system

if there is no trend u will get a lot of false signal and watch your equity curve going downtrend. :-)

I use DDFX at times and its quite good. Like any of these systems you want to wait for some momentum/ break of trendline before entering. I think easier to use than pallada

Thanks for all the work you did in modifying the ADX_Crossing indicator. I am a bit late to this party and tried to get your V3 of that indicator. Unfortunately, I'm getting an error saying the link is no longer valid. Would you mind recreating the link? I would really appreciate it.

ok ... i cleaned the entire code and i updated it a bit ... here it is

1) now the alert should work ok ... at least for me it did :)

2) i changed it so it would look the same on both 4 and 5 digits brokers

In a Ranging market this system will kill your account faster than you can click CLOSE !!

 

I have also not found ANY indicator reliable enough to keep me out of a ranging market. As soon as you see a break in some of the indicators it just comes back again, NOTHING reliable enough to trust that the ranging market is now over.

 

If anybody has something that is more reliable I would appreciate it if you could post it because Ranging markets is my Nemesis it blows account after account and I just can't seem to stay out or recognize when it is over. Even an indicator that will allow me to effectively trade a ranging market would also help.
