denlivin
Re: G7_USD Indicator Regards, :shand: Hi chankl78 your G7 indi's is very excellent, but if u dont mind i want to ask about: what your entry & exit technique? And how about your spesific stoplos & limit profit? So far i trade with ATR channel for catch correction move & the result is good....i want to discuss with u maybe we can combine our technique? chankl78
Re: G7_USD Indicator Thanks. So far, I have tested my entry... it is always bad entry when I goes in. The method I used, it works only when there is holiday in bank. As described in the above post, It will be better to trade only on the strong & weak currencies instead by crossing.... Is it ok for u to discuss it here & see how we can get a good entry & exit?
whitenoise
Re: G7_USD Indicator Sorry to be a bother, but I have tried both the original version that need a code and the educated version, and neither one works. They both display a very small indicator window (that is empty) at the bottom of my platform. Resizing it does no good. It is in my indicator folder just like all my others....I am using forex.com/uk build 225 if that helps. Any suggestions would be great - I would love to check this out! whitenoise
Re: G7_USD Indicator Yarman, Thanks for the reply, but it still does not work for some reason. Works just fine on my Fxpro demo account, but nothing on my live one with gain capital...
HunFxTrader
Re: G7_USD Indicator I have modified this indicator and have added a suffix string to it, so you can use it with any currency symbol that has suffix. I have tested it on IBFX mini account with "m" suffix, and it works properly, but when you attach the indicator to your chart you can change the suffix "m" to any other suffix, that your broker uses. In addition you don't need any code number to use the indi. Enjoy! :) http://[email protected]/file/194152393/cba64b9f/G7_USD_suffix.html kltan
ottrix
Re: G7_USD Indicator For your Gain Capital, is there symbols attached behind? My forexom com uk is working. I saw from forex factory that it will not works on pairs that has symbols attached behind like jadefx. If your broker add a suffix at the end of the symbols then G7_USD will not work. For example my broker JadeFX add 'jfx' at the end of the symbol = EURUSDjfx instead of only EURUSD. You could modify the code of G7_USD and add the suffix or you could use an alternative indicator : CCFp from http://codebase.mql4.com/5862 I'm very happy with CCFp, the result is quite the same and IMO it's more flexible. Please change the variables to Fast=1 and Slow=2. PS : There is another thread here at Indo using CCFp http://indo-investasi.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=3352&start=0&hilit=CCSig+mq4
whitenoise
Re: G7_USD Indicator Perfect! That fixed the issue...I have "FXF" behind my currency pairs? Anyone know what that means? chankl78
Re: G7_USD Indicator The best is to ask go to Live Chat of your broker & ask them. They will give u the best reason for this.

brucebruce
Re: G7_USD Indicator Please change the variables to Fast=1 and Slow=2. Hi, What is the purpose of changing variables FAst=1 and Slow=2? It changes the look of the chart considerably. What does this do?
ottrix
Re: G7_USD Indicator Hi, What is the purpose of changing variables FAst=1 and Slow=2? It changes the look of the chart considerably. What does this do? Your question is already answered in my post : 'the result is quite the same' If you add CCFp with default values then it's totally different to G7_USD. To use CCFp as an alternative to G7 i use variables FAst=1 and Slow=2. Add G7, CCFp with FAst=1 and Slow=2, CCFp with default variables to a M15 chart and you see yourself. arfian
Re: G7_USD Indicator Hi, Has anyone spotted the "Zero Divide" error in Expert Tab when loading this Indicator? I think a correction in code will be fine. Thanks
tom1713006007
Re: G7_USD Indicator Hi, Has anyone spotted the "Zero Divide" error in Expert Tab when loading this Indicator? I think a correction in code will be fine. Thanks Hi, I don't think there is a problem with the code. Zero Divide error usually happens when your currency symbol did not match with the code inside the indi. Check your broker's pair symbol. If it is a standard one e.g. EURUSD instead of EURUSDm or EURUSD. etc, just leave the the suffix setting blank at indi's inputs. It has "m" as default suffix. Delete it when you use a standard pair. Hope this help.. :-bd
Starting
Re: G7_USD Indicator "Zero divide" error can also happen when there is no history for the pair on required date, so EA/indie divides known data by unknown (zero). :)
arfian
Re: G7_USD Indicator So you mean, that errors meant nothing, only a history or suffix mismatch. How to solve this? Download more history in mt4?Are you getting a same error with me when loading this indic? Thanks again,
enodr
Re: G7_USD Indicator To remove the "zero divide" error you need the history for the following pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, USDJPY for the timeframes you want to use.
