So its not ready to use yet. It contains 6 files, complete with manual, recommended pair, timeframe and settings-that should be updated every months from the vendor. I'm just a trader and buy their system, do not have any experience in coding nor hacking at all. I'd be surprised if they don't have users crying about this already. I'm not a member, I only used their lack of expertise in matters of security to produce the server data. However, if I decide to use this package (I'll give it 2-3 months, see what the actual users are saying, and in the meantime probably run all EAs together on a demo account) I'll definitely buy it, it's very cheap in my opinion. I'll get a bit into details: what Freedom does is that it fetches the parameters for each currency pair from the server. These parameters are somewhat static, they don't change daily, BUT I suppose they will reoptimize it every now and then and upload the new parameters. The Freedom version I am posting below has up-to-date parameters as of today, hardcoded for each pair advertised in the manual. You can even reproduce their live results (http://freedom.mt4live.com/) if you backtest, I tried EURUSD 08/2009 and got almost the same trades. The problem: when they update the parameters for any pair, you have to rely on other people to fetch the new parameters and update the EA for you. I recommend buying the package if you plan to run it on a live account. What is the frequency of downloads from the server (once per day)? Someone who bought it should decompile it and log the values of the variables (e.g. write to CSV text file, or even just Print() statements). Then we can see whether the values actually change day to day; maybe they don't. We'll also then be able to know the current optimal values so that we can just use those without needing to connect to the server. Their server has 20 settings files, but Freedom currently runs on 10 pairs only; these are randomly named and no date is shown, so there's no telling how old they are, but fact is, 10 of them are identical to the other 10. Might be that the settings were never updated and the only change was removing CHFJPY. Anyway, I put all the bling EAs together with the latest fractals 4 on a demo account and I'm gonna let it run for a while, see what happens. Using a constant size per trade would have been quite a smooth ride. I wonder what the vendor themselves think about that. Would you use a constant trade size instead? How does a backtest look with a constant trade size? Would that have been done manually or through the parameter value updating process? To properly backtest these EAs whose parameter values can change over time you'd need the historical values of the parameters. Anyway, I put all the bling EAs together with the latest fractals 4 on a demo account and I'm gonna let it run for a while, see what happens.If you put it all on a single account, ensure that the Comment variable in OrderSend() is set to be the EA name so that you can see which trades were taken by which EA. I haven't checked whether the EAs do that already. I've just been too busy to have a proper look at the package. I have a very mean linux box running a vmware with windows xp and I just remote desktop to it. I'll backtest it when I have the time... I only did some really quick backtesting using the August history center data and all the pairs I tried it on (some 4-5) were not profitable. The CHFJPY removal was probably done through the updating process. If they no longer provide the settings file for a particular pair, the EA will say that there's no optimization data for that pair and will refuse to trade it. I'm not sure of the origins, but it's probably to avoid being able to easily find the information using search engines.
