In the past while they configured the servers, there was some problem with the spreads, but now it is have very good spreads. JadeFX is an STP broker, they have 0.5 pip share from your trade. I think it is user friendly. If you like to play around with their demo check:

Hi,

 

The v1.01 for NFA regulations... Anythnig else in the trading logic are same. If your broker non-NFA regulated, you would not need to update your MDP.

My version born from Don's v1.00ee, but the DLL dependency were removed.

Just for people who want open JadeFX. I had opened an account. What I can say is, that the demo is much different from liveaccount.

But of course the demos of other brokers are much different from liveaccounts too.

The good thing at JadeFX is, that the commissions are lower than at FXCBS.

But my results were, that I can have same results in pips at AlpariUK and then have no commissions to pay. Alpari UK has better spreads now than before and I think EAs will work better now. Since about 1 week they have reduced the spreads and there is much more liquidity there than before.

But that's just my experience.

Results from yesterday (Tadawul demo), +36 pips no negative trades, GBP/USD was a close call it could easily hit S/L if closed little later (That's why I think it's so important to close all trading positions before London session opens).

 

That makes me wonder if having an option to close all trades before London open (or simply close all trades at a specific time) would dramatically affect the backtests and overall profitability of the EA.

 

There certainly are times when you will have to manually close trades before they ruin your profits. This becomes even more important when that pair is in recovery mode. The EURGBP loss yesterday was a watershed moment in that debate

Well, it's definitely possible. Let's have a crack at it. :-bd

I'm most interested in getting a trade to close by a certain hour -- but it looks like there's lots of other good features in there too.

 

I'm working on this now. Looks easy to add some of these new features.

Definitely the force close, break even, and timed stop features are easy to add, and I have done so already.

 

The trade times additions look a bit trickier... Megadroid Pro has it's own IsTradeTime function where as the original Megadroid does not... so this could become a little easier to implement, but is more work and not straightforward.

 

Expect another version of XE soon!

@bbrain, don't mind my opinion too much... but that EURJPY and USDJPY make too big drawdowns no matter they make profits at the end. I would rather avoid them.

I have version bb 07 and works very well (would not change with other versione ;) )

Running with 4 diff live accounts (fxpro, alpari, fxdd and forex metal) but yesterday i had no trades.Maybe due endo of month block in the EA

I also changed the trading hours from 20->23 GTM instead the original 21->23GTM. So just start 1 hour earlyer trading.

Dont like to trade when asian opens or dirung asian trading hours.

Does somone modify to trade earlyer like 19->23 ? What results you have?
