Personally, I wouldn't and don't trade JPY pairs! It's too risky during the asian session!

I Agree with you, we need to lower the risk as much as we can. As somebody said on some previous page JPY, NZD and AUD should be avoided on Asian session.

My Forex.com UK live got only 1 trades. Maybe I put in too many EA inside so not enough margin to trade my MDPro...

Still have 1 open trade UsdChf......

USDCHF and EURGBP hanging trades.

the USDCHF looks dangerous as the higher timeframes suggest a retracement up, rather than down - which is where MDP is hoping it goes.

 

All in all, a very lacklustre session on Alpari UK... most trades closed in profit, but only just over breakeven,

 

UPDATE: USDCHF finally came back.

Meanwhile, EURGBP is looking very dangerous. For me it is in recovery mode and despite all indicators, it has yet to retrace, and we are into the NY open. It is threatening to wipe out more than half of this month's profits on me. X_X MD did not close this one manually either, and I should have, but was expecting retracement... which I'm not getting due to overall weakness in the GBPUSD. I'm a bit angry at myself for not closing it sooner and taking a smaller hit.....

 

UPDATE: MD closed it eventually. My account took a big hit.... that's TWO pairs that hit the stoploss TWICE in a row this month!

Strangely, I am not in the red.... I am still in profit for this month, but now,.... not by much. X-(

This is second day :) (with bbr v0.7).

 

I was on vacation, and things here are moving really fast. This is not enough to conclude anything yet, but after 15-20 trade days we can get some picture.

Ya, my SL was hit too.

This pair is being trendy these days and it's very risky runnig scalper EAs on it... avoid it till mid Spetember.

Is there a way to run a backtest with a custom spread, i.e, force the spread to be 5 pips or so?

Results from yesterday (Tadawul demo), +36 pips no negative trades, GBP/USD was a close call it could easily hit S/L if closed little later (That's why I think it's so important to close all trading positions before London session opens). I'll start live trading with MDPro in two days so we can compare results with demo account.

Comparing Tadawul's live and demo trading will be interesting. Tadawul's data are highlyyyyyyy filtered. To me, I think this broker is not suitable for scalping EAs. But so far, your result is good on demo. Let's see how are things going on live.
