There is no solution for this version ? Because she's good and take me good results !

 

rmbpmendes, what the difference between XE version and xx2 ? There is crash with XE ? Can you give me the share link ? What the trading hours ? Because you have trade around 22h but not me...

41 pips profit. I'm using the last version of MegaDroidPro_XE.

 

I'm up $20 from last night on Alpari UK (MDPXEv1.1). There was scary situation with the EURCHF which nearly missed breakeven, so I closed it manually JUST off break even. GBPUSD and USDCAD were stragglers, blasting back the other way for a while, but eventually came into breakeven profit.

 

I just wish the spreads were lower during the Asian session, as it sure would help make the Megadroid a little less vulnerable.

Could you please add what logic you are using for EURJPY, USDJPY, USDCAD and GBPUSD? I am on Alpari UK Micro Live also and would like to test these additional pairs.

Here is the version that I'm running:

 

I'm running it with the auto GMT. It seems to be +2

 

Here's an updated version of MegadroidPro XE (now v1.1)

 

Included is a fix to Don's MaxSpread input. It is now a double, and not an int, and it will be automatically converted to something functional if you give it a positive value. You no longer need to multiply by 10 on a 5-digit broker.... but you can manually set the decimal place for your own fine-tuning if you have 5-digits. (Naturally enough, the decimal place will be useless on a 4-digit broker.)

 

You can now also check the status of the MaxSpread from the chart you place the EA on too.

You will either be told that it's disabled, default, or the value that you've set the max spread to.

(Note that the MaxSpread, if you set it to a positive value, will be active on BOTH strategies... which is why the display won't show a value if you simply use the defaults. MaxSpreads sometimes differ between supported pair strategies.)

 

I could have also turned the individual logic max spreads into doubles too, but I didn't want to mess with the system too much.

 

Also included collinsmith's fix, and a few other tweaks and cleanups to the inputs. Someone who watches a lot of TV may note the significance of the new "magic numbers" ;)) Of course they do not affect how the EA trades.

 

I also cleaned up the readme.

 

In the package I have inlcuded presets for the other supported pairs, loaded into the CUSTOM logic settings, in case you want to tweak the defaults through optimization or something.

 

Let me know of any problems.

Now all we have to do is generate a pile of good CUSTOM logic presets for other pairs.....

 

This is the major difference:

from the "Read Me":

 

" The EA no longer communicates over the internet, or even with the original

DLL file. You will still need to "Allow DLL imports" however, as

kernel32.dll is accessed to get process IDs and system time information."

This version also allows you to set your own trading times... That's the reason why I've that range of hours.

So does bbr_07...

 

XE is just an extention of bbr_v07. The MAJOR difference with XE is that it lets you use other logics on supported pairs, lets you develop your own logic in optimization, and use your own custom logic on any pair you like.

 

Other than that, they are not too different. They are both "unplugged" from the megadroid.dll but will need to be allowed to use DLLs because kernel32.dll gets called for the GMT auto setting.

What settings you use for your live account ? Have you Override Trades on true or false ? If true, what's hours ? I don't understand this setting..if you can explain to me.. !

 

Me, with ee2 version I work with this pairs and logic :

 

USDJPY : Logic 4

GPBUSD : Logic 4

EURJPY : Logic 1

GBPCHF : Logic 4

USDCAD : Logic 2

EURCHF : Logic 2

EURGBP : Logic 3

USDCHF : Logic 4

EURUSD : Logic 1

 

I've very good results with this pairs & logic and with version ee2 of Don.

 

And you, what logic you use for the same pairs ?
