Re: F0r3x5hok3r

i have gmt auto off.

im testing on a straight through processing broker. so maybe its an order thing? is it ECN compatible? i have a feeling it might not be, and that's my problem.

could a coder have a look, and if needed modify it so that the ECN thing works?

I think you all should just wait until san4x releases his version

Meanwhile Forex Shocker v2 is piphunting quite nicely on the EURUSD in my live tests.

Re: F0r3x5hok3r

As posted earlier, I am running the "no dll" from pghiaci and the "genuine" version side-by-side...on two terminals, same broker (GMT+0, fixed spread to make it fair). Last, I ran "my" educated version on a third terminal under same conditions.

I removed the trading time restrictions to let the EAs trade all day and all night long so I could better compare the trading behaviour.

The EAs have now run almost for 24 hours.

All three EAs have lost (no surprise, since trading times was switched off).

The version without DLL behaves like the genuine version, although it seems to lose more than the real version. The other version that I 'educated' appears to be an exact copy of the genuine one.

ALL accounts started at the exact same time with 10.000 USD.

Right now the "no dll" version shows $500 more loss in total.

It does seem they enter the same trades...but I will have to analyze the exact trades, entry/exit times, positions, lotsizes to determine what causes the difference.

But hats off to pghiaci, nice work in removing the dll.

Thanks for the kudos...much appreciated!
