I did a testing on EG using the same setting for EChf

The backtest results is much more better than EChf.

 

I am using the latest version posted by QuickSilver.

 

Start time = 18, end time = 22

Risk 50%

Max Trades = 2

Max Trades per bar = 1

TP = 5

SL = 25

Time Protection = True

Pips To Close Level 1, 2, 3 = 5

Minutes To Close Level 4 = 240

Pips To Close Level 4 = -6

Minutes To Close Level 5 = 240

The auto GMT offset in the latest version from Quiksilver is not working properly. Have to use the manual setting for the GMT offset.

 

Hopefully RIO can hijack the GMT auto-offset from megadriod one more time. ;)

unfortunatly, my backtest are no so fantastic than yours.

EG with chankl78 setting, from 1st may 2009 till now, wins=losses, so result is almost zero!

and I run this backtest daytime with spread=2, normally spread should be 4 (at night).

 

I run the same backtest with my version of dragonpips (old version, i don't remember witch one) and results are betters. Personnally I do not use Dragon for this pair in real, I only use it for Eurusd, GbpUsd, UsdChf and UsdCad with very good results in July and August, not so bad in September

I can only run from 1st Sept 2009 to 30th Sept 2009.

So I do not know the rest of the year.

 

Also, my backtest has lots of ticks errors. So that's y i request for help.. Hee hee..

I run on my old pc (core duo 2.6 ghz) and it needs 10 minutes for dragon for 5 months (M15 using every ticks)

on my new Pc (I7 overcloked @ 4 ghz) only 4 minutes

I have removed many useless lines in dragonpips that accelerate the backtests (included in quicksilver ultimate) but it's true that we should do better I think since Dragonpips code is full of bugs and useless old code.

i close manually the trades that become dangerous around 01:30 (23:30 gmt)

I think I'll play it safe and disable Drgaonpips this coming session on the EURCHF.

the SNB did another major intervention on the CHF not so long ago. I have no idea what this will do for scalping in the upcoming session.

I always have some bad ticks also, but overall the modeling quality is 90%.

Don't know if your problem is more serious.

Anyway backtests and forward tests are differents. For sure forward tests are far more accurate, but we have to wait a long time to get a fair wiew about their potential and safety.

I have some EAs that look good in forward tests since 3 months, but a backtest from 2008 shows large drawdowns that occurs only 1 or 2 times in 18 months. So...

Today trades is good. I follow lots of advice from all in the above & trade in Eurchf, AudNzd, EurGbp, EurUsd in Jade Live, using ultimate.

From 18:00 to 22:00, risk 20%, Maxtrades = 2, Max Trades per bar = 1, TP = 5, SL = 25.

 

Seems very good for today. Still have 1 open trade in Eurchf.

All indicators got the signals from 5M and 15M TF in predefined way. Only MA's values are taked from current TF.

 

You can use on any TF, but only change MA's values.

all default setting. Running for 1st day using ultimate, unfortunately my mt4 platform crash (maybe due to the update of Mt4 version 225) So no trades has taken.
